You just spelled out every last bit of reason why I freaking love him more than any other characters in the franchise, in GT, his character development continues, to the point of accepting Goku's name, and calling Planet Earth his Home, I just simply wish GT focused on him more, this is what motivates me to get good at animating, cuz I would love to fan remake GT, making the story better in the process, I don't plan on doing the same to Super cuz... There's just almost nothing likeable about that show Overall, redemption arc, if done right, is the easiest way for me to love a character

You should do one on Piccolo as he's arguably had just as much character development as Vegeta, albeit more subtle. Bulma would also be an interesting candidate too considering how much she's changed since episode/chapter 1 of Dragon Ball. I think she honestly really enjoys watching Goku and others fight considering how she's there so often

it ruined what lmao, vegeta in both super and gt viewed goku as someone he wanted to surpass he accepted that goku was better or at the very least his equal although most of the time he refuses to admit it, essentially he is the same as z although the big difference between gt and super is that he is the deuteragonist in super and a side character in gt both gt and super have no character progression, super only has the goku regression in the anime meanwhile in gt nothing changed

I've always said this is just an attribute to Akira Toriyama's bad writing. One point you have Vegeta commiting mass genocide and laughing about it and then the next he's claiming Frieza made him do it. It's the same as Piccolo planning to kill Goku and then forgetting his plan after training his son. Piccolo didn't become good, Akira just forgot....same with Vegeta. 😮

I appreciate the approach with the Japanese text, but Vegeta’s name in Japanese is “ベジータ”, reading “BejĪta” in romanized form, not “ブジェタ”, which roughly reads as “Bujeta” in romanized form and translates to “Bugeta” in English. If you wanna put Vegeta’s full Japanese name onscreen, next time just put “ベジータ王子”. For lack of a better example, you can hear the voice actors in the anime use it when referring to him.

I know he called himself a "super elite" and believed in it but I never did. I saw these society classes as bullshit. Simply because Kakarrot a low level Saiyan was able to surpass him for the most part. Not on their 1st fight but on Namek when he turned blond. What do you mean losing to Goku? He crushed every bone in his body, the guy was out of commission and it was left for Gohan, Kuririn and Yajirobe to defeat him barely. I always hated this son of a bitch and I still do, but if there is one thing I admire about him is his incredible power and skills as a fighter and also his determination. Other than that I will always severely judge him and will look at him with a black glasses.
