I really liked the OG broly. His power was so strong that Goku had to put his and all the other Z fighters power together, and insert it into the OG broly, making him self destruct. As it was stated earlier that Broly's power would have destroyed him if he didn't release it. (Which makes a lot more sense on how he lost, as putting Vegeta's, Trunks, Goku's, Piccolo's, and Gohan's power into that punch and transferring it into Broly would make him self destruct as was mentioned earlier.)

This is not true. Super Broly is not like Z Broly where his power increases almost limitless. Super Broly only adapt but he has his limits, everytime he overpowered his opponents is when he transformed. For example Broly in his base form was superior to vegeta until the latter transformed into ssj god. Broly wrathful form was equal to ssjblue and his power didn't increase until he transformed in ssj.

Paragus doesn't know much about it and what he says is unreliable. Broly doesn't lose consciousness(at least before he goes ss) because he looks at frieza when frieza asks him to look in his direction and broly doesn't seem to like frieza at all from their first encounter at friezas ship. He only didn't listen to his father because he knew he could do more each time. Also he has a smirk on his face when he is fighting goku, seems like he was enjoying the fight. Paragus is such a controlling father not because broly doesn't have self control because he's paranoid and if broly loses it he could get killed. Yes broly doesn't mind breaking some stuff but that's not related with self control. I could even say broly maybe was conscious during ss1 if only person he attacked out of blue was frieza because he seems to not like him but him attacking whis doesn't make sense at all.

I'm not against Broly being able to tap into his power, since he's the legendary berserker Saiyan. But the learning how to use his power with no training is annoying af, he should be able to withstand attacks, but not be able to dish anything out that actually makes contact, like, we're talking about Vegeta and Goku here and they had to go SSB Gogeta to defeat Broly? Talk about skipping foreplay.

Only thing I hated about DBS: Broly is that it made the DBZ Broly movie trilogy non-canon. 3 different movies released YEARS ago, now all of a sudden the fights that happened when Goku was barely Super Saiyan never happened. I will say though..... damn. Nothing like taking a movie and basically cutting out ANY POSSIBLE STORY, and just making the hour and 20 minute long move be damn near an hour straight of nothing but Broly, Goku, Vegeta, and Gogeta beating each other to a pulp.
