Here's a recipe for Vegetable Flatbread:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup water
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon crushed red chili
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 cup chopped carrot
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup shredded cabbage
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup corn kernels
- 1/2 cup diced capsicum
- 1/2 cup grated potatoes
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Instructions:
1. In a bowl, whisk together milk, water, and egg.
2. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a smooth flowy dough forms.
3. Cover the bowl and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
4. Add the grated carrot, chopped onion, shredded cabbage, diced tomatoes, corn kernels, diced capsicum, and grated potatoes to the dough. Mix well.
5. Add spices and stir well.
6. Preheat a non-stick skillet or pan over medium heat.
7. Add 2 tablespoon of oil or butter in pan.
8. Pour one cup of batter each time in a pan and cook for 3 to 4 minutes or until bubbles come on top.
9. Flip and cook for another 2 minutes or until golden brown and crisp amd the veggies are tender.
10. Serve warm and enjoy!
