Yeah but you need to grow indoors and a spot where it is sunny....

Very interesting - wish you the best of luck as Calgary is one of the most difficult places on the planet to garden - you are very brave trying to grow blueberries - wish you success.

Hello sir, I am doing gardening for first time this year have couple of questions 1.from which store can we get the seeds in Airdrie or Calgary for vegetable 2. Which month is the good time to start seeding. And how often we needs to water the plants. I am growing coriander, radish, mint,Mehti,sarso. And I’m growing some from store bought vegetables not sure whether or not they will plant or not like peas, capsicum, okra,strawberry,
@cmkcalgary4 жыл бұрын
Hi Neha, You can buy seeds in any retail or garden store which they sell in small packets...I bought at superstor/walmart/Homedepot like stores...Also seeding depends on which plants they are. For example peas, beets,kale,spinach,mint, radish can be seeded directly outside around 2nd week of april once the soil outside is about 12-15 C. Peas and strawberry grows well in calgary but okra needs a lot of sun and longer duration of good weather....if you start early inside and then transplant, then you can yield in august else it is quite difficult in calgary weather. Check my latest videos of the vegetables that we have started this year....hope this helps.

Can this be done all around year? Or in summers only?
@cmkcalgary4 жыл бұрын
If it's tropical country like India, you could do it all year round. In Canada season starts around April first week and ends by September end.... depends on which vegetables.
