why not show the splitting, and the leather types and thicknesses it produces? its the most important part to teach
@pellealvegetaleАй бұрын
From the tanners' point of view, Splitting is not relevant or decisive for the purposes of vegetable tanning. The tanning phases are Tanning, Retanning, Dyeing and Fatliquoring and the rest such as splitting are simply intermediate mechanical steps! Are you interested in something specific?
@beganoviccАй бұрын
@@pellealvegetale well people need to be educated and informed about leather splits. They go around buying "genuine leather", bonded leather and everything other than full and top grain. They know little of dying with aniline and semi aniline. Most people who own leather products have never touched the real leather surface, always the film and color layers on top. The video is great but this would make it extremely useful to consumers.
