In Tamil Nadu, India there are govt school kitchens where they cook food for lower income students. And atleast once a year we hear the news school children died because of lizard fell in the food. Now it is very less, In 1980's these news use to come once a month. These lizards are very common in our homes. Meat whether people like it or not is the best form of protein rather than the fake stuff you get from shakes and products like Quorn. Eid-Al-Adha helps many of those unfortunate starving Muslims and the meat is distributed to them so Eid-Al-Adha serves as a purpose of charity, in fact Islam is very much a pro-charity and before such silly stuff is said people don't tend to understand.
