In this video I show you how to make this easy veggie wrap that is totally raw, gluten free and 100% plant based of course! This Veggie wrap is made is the dehydrator and couldn't be easier. Here is what you will need for this amazing Veggie Wrap-Raw:
Ingredients for the wrap
3 carrots
10 pitted dates
1 cup water
1 cup ground flax seed
1/2 tsp. smoked paprika
1/2 to 1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp garlic powder
Ingredients for the filling
hummus
avocado smashed
red onion
shredded carrots
chopped tomatoes
red onion
shredded beets
shredded broccoli
chopped red pepper
chopped cucumber
finely chopped greens like spring mix
or anything else you want
Instructions:
add carrots to food processor and process until finally minced. Add one cup of the carrots to your high speed blender with the dates and one cup water and blend till smooth. Add the mixture to the bowl then add the rest of the carrots, ground flax seed and spices and mix till everything is incorporated.
This will make 2 large wraps so place half the mixture on to your dehydrator rack lined with parchment paper and spread to about !/4 inch thickness.
Place in dehydrator at 115 degrees for 6- 7 hours at around hour 5 flip the wrap over onto another rack and peel off parchment paper and dehydrate for another 1 to 2 hours until you get the desired consistency.
To assemble:
spread a layer of hummus over entire wrap, this will help it stay closed as well as being delicious. Add the smashed avocado and spread over half the wrap. Then start adding your veggies starting at one end and going about half way down the wrap, then top with spring mix or greens of your choice.
Start rolling your wrap until the end, cut in half and get ready to bite into the most delicious wrap you ever tasted. Enjoy!
