Max, Vegito’s level 1 spirit sword is the most damaging level 1 in the game. The closer you are, the more damage you do. You were at the 2 hit range, get in your opponents face and do it for 2.5k damage.

One thing that's not super important but is worth mentioning is that his 2L carries momentum, so you can dash at them and surprise them with his 2L from pretty far away

Some advice for Vegito: His aerial Vegito Sword can counter down heavy, but only in special cases. If you R2 dash at the opponent, and if they block, if they go for an input, 9/10 times by immediately using down Ki/ Vegito Sword you can catch them before they have a chance to attack. As far as I know, the only counter to this is mirror matching Vegito, his light auto combo can counter this strategy because its quicker. Hope this helps you guys, figured i would point this out, as Max didn't mention it.

Zamasu is definitely looking top tier and vegito is looking high end, around goku black I'd say, even though he doesn't have a hard knockdown his combos are revolved around keeping the corner, corner pressure and his sword, when used correctly vegito can open you up from almost anywhere and combo your ass, then say "bitch you thought you were done in the corner? Y E E T!" And bam, your in the corner again. He ain't no cell or bardock, but hes good, really good I'd say, Top bracket

user2716 Agreed. When doing a super way high in the air, his sword does not reach. His light kick is very good on block. As a Vegito main, u can put him anywhere on the team. Vegito does not need assists to be effective. His damage output is ridiculous. Vegito is my anchor because I build up meter with my other two characters and let Vegito go to work. The only weaknesses Vegito has is his assist because u super dash thru it and not a reliable knockdown. Vegito is the better character in my opinion. He is A+ tier.

You forgot to mention that his 236S carries momentum, so if you dash and do the TK motion for it, Vegito goes forward really fast with it. If you combine that with a good assist, you get a really good way to approach your opponent.

TK stands for Tiger Knee which means you do the input for a move and input up/forward before you push the button. 236s stands for Quarter Circle Forward S (ki blast in FighterZ). QCF - down, down/forward, forward (all in one motion)

Watching you press a million times each button near the end of the video makes me thing that this is not something of discipline but more of mashing it until you get the action you wanted and then changing to the next thing. So, how do i get the timing right? How do i know how to connect attacks? Are there different methods depending on the game?

georgeahi he’s not mashing it’s that his buttons are loud and depending on the combo you have to press buttons quickly to keep it going. The combos in this game are easy it’s pretty much ABC. In other fighting games the combo structure can be very different like in Mortal Kombat which uses juggles or Street fighter and KOF which have very tight links. In this game the combo structure is called a magic series which means Light attack button can link into the Medium attack button which links to the hard attack button hence “ABC” which every character has and at the end of the magic series you do a special move that character has like a fireball for instance.

its cause max does something that i do and isnt really the best to copy and its to repeatedly hit the button you want next in the combo untill it comes out. you know the combo is abc so you press b repeatedly untill it comes out. its nothing special about it. It really is to just practice and figure out what you can press after doing a certain attack. max has been playing fighting games for years so he can easily mash but at the same time keep his timing proper.

Vegeta is gonna turn into a great ape and start smashing you Goku is gonna make a gigantic glowing spirit bomb. Kaio Ken as a dragon install would be dope af. Seeing Goku fuck nappa up in a dramatic finisher will be godly and don't even get me started on the Vegeta and Goku dramatic finisher. They are very plain and boring characters for other dragon Ball games but this game feels like a game they can really stand out in and you can really appreciate it.

To maximize vegeto you must use special mid air and is actual down heavy that does better damage extremely and can do the mid air grab after any combo. And if in the corner you can use heavy plus the sword and land any variation of the kicks then use a vanish then grab to get a hard knock down in the corner agin. Super easy 50% combos as long as you remember to use special mid air as his launcher
