As a child, i remember having a bear family blocking the road up the mountain...Rangers came and coaxed them off the road with orange pop and twinkies so the cars could move LOL...they also had a rifle just in case

I Love Cades Cove,we bike it every year and even walked it one time, I'd rather bike it. Beautiful footage. Oh one year a deer ran out in front of us while biking being chased by a bear. We had to brake fast and I almost went over handlebars 😲😲😲😲😲😲😲

Now that would be interesting. My dad and I "biked" it...motorcycle...and it was very tiring. We did the cut through and still struggled. IMO too many folks who creep while passing up pull-offs .

My husband and I have recently found your channel. Love watching . We are "seniors" who just visited the mountains for a few days this week from Mississippi. It was beautiful. We stayed most of the time in Pigeon Forge / Sevierville area. We have to admit we were a little nervous about possibly meeting y'alll in person- our hotel parking sign was a little confusing. My husband was awaken one morning by a beep, beep - needless to say he quickly looked to see if it was y'all in the parking lot.😅

Only one mistake ….. not turning right at the end of the loop and going to the General Store to get you an ice cream. That is one of the special traditions of going to the cove. We were in Cades Cove last week and saw 2 large bears up in a tree. Lots of folks out in the field looking at them with Rangers keeping everyone at a safe distance. Had a great trip through there.

Love cades cove. My sister walked to one of the creeks, just so happened a momma bear was sitting by a tree and her two cubs was in the tree, the bear didn't do anything. I was walking in a field and i turned around 5 feet from me was 5 deers, i got to the car fast, they just stood there and ate.

Enjoyed the brilliant colors! Here in WV a drought affected the colors this year. We have tons of deer, turkey and bear here, just wish we had decent roads for tourism.

I was in Cades Cove about 20 years ago and saw all kinds of deer which was crazy for a city kid. I returned this July and saw one deer. That was all the wildlife. Otherwise it's still a beautiful area.

Was up in Cades cove back in the spring I guess we was about a mile and a half into it ran upon six black bear in the road they pretty much sit there for about 20 minutes before they moved that place is well known for bear I was told but I'm looking forward to coming back in the spring I always like y'all's videos I know you get some very rude people at times and Jeff you're always easy going appreciate what y'all do keep up the good work

Was hoping they paved a few of more of the pull offs when they redid the loop. Thought it was great that they made the first cabin ADA accessible. really surprised tehy didn't pave the cut across roads tho. As long as they leave Rich Mountain Road alone then we're good lol. That would be an expensive bill for sure lol. My question is this....how did they possibly get a call out of the cove besides radio to radio. Again a fabulous video. Stay safe out there!! Lets not forget to mention the pose lol.

Yes Park Ranger has to call out there is no signal. They do a great job watching for these things.

The Cove being closed for bicycles (and hikers) USED to be Saturday and Wednesday mornings, but starting in 2021, they changed it to being closed all day on Wednesdays only. But it's only during part of the year. For 2022 the dates are May 4 to Sep 28.

Omg! We broke down in a brand new Denali around this same time in Cades Cove! (I have video!) It was an electrical computer issue but luckily made it back to townsend to call a tow. We will call yall next time! Hopefully they have fixed the wheel sensor..that was horrible!

I carry an Audew jump box in my vehicle. Wranglerstar and Project Farm did a video on it, it's good! I bought it through Audew's site for half price, $69.95. It's paid for itself already. It will start a 250 Mercury 4-stroke and a 7.3 diesel. Tough enough for me and a great price.
