Personally, I like the plastic case my tools came in. Everything is waaaaay more organized, each piece has a dedicated spot that is labeled with the size, everything is much easier to find, and it lays flat. The tool roll seems to be an answer in search of a problem IMO.

Try storing one of those big plastic cases in a van or truck. You will run out of space really quick.

I agree with the plastic case the tools come in. Dumping out your pouch from a tool roll to find the correct size is annoying for anyone that actually uses the tools…
@michaelwarnock39882 жыл бұрын
@@SpartanSpree I use Husky socket rails, they are money. Same organization but much smaller footprint.
@sashaghovanlou81756 күн бұрын
@@SpartanSpree realistically, the purpose of this tool roll would be for people who have tools and need a way to store/transport them. I can't imagine the main use case would be to buy a budget all in one kit and then transferring it ALL into this tool roll. you don't really need to carry metric, standard, deep shallow, regular sockets from all 3 sizes lol. you would replace those with pliers, screwdrivers, gloves, files, etc. you can't really do this with the plastic molded case right?

thats like having a snap on toolbox with huskey tools inside , spend on tools first and then get a good toolbox, youll need a bigger one than you startet with , just like knives quality isn't cheap

Love tacomas! I bought a 2001 Tacoma back in 2008 for $12,000. Just hit 100,000 miles on this baby and still running today. Had a frame recall. Doubt I’ll ever buy another vehicle again in my lifetime

I picked up a 2001 tacoma TRD last oct 31st in Kentucky for $18,000. It had 24k original miles when I drove away with it. Brought it back to VA and as it sits right now it has less than 28k miles. Just a couple of small blemishes on the body but everything else is spotless. Lunar mist, 5spd, 3.4

I’m so glad you made this video. Never knew this existed, but I am definitely ordering one. With a truck, it’s hard to keep a mechanic’s tool set under the back seat because, as you said, the box is too big.

Looks nice but keeping it in the plastic case is way better and it will save you time. Can you imagine having to unroll that thing then look for a ratchet then unroll another one for a socket then if you need an extension gotta look for that too many steps when you can just open up the case and see everything you need way more convenient

I'll definitely get that tool roll but man I don't know about black tools for your vehicle tools. They look cool in a brightly lit garage but on the side of the road or a trail good luck finding them if they drop or roll away. In my experience stuff never seems to break in perfect conditions. You might want to put a couple small magnetic trays in that bag too.
