I had a 72 model it was green with vinyl top back in the 80's I traded it for 78 Chevy Caprice. The only problem I had with the Valiant it had electrical issues.

Hey Tyler. Man you are down a little car ownership wise. As I am having lost some parking after moving I had a mysterious gas smell in my 4Runner rear drive which turned out to be an intermittent leak from a pin hole on the bottom of a replacement gas tank. The rear drive 4Runner is an automobile that I have enjoyed. A ride and drive. Mileage 237k Wish I had more room like for one of your V8 Valiant or Darts I like a 8 automatic. The gas tank is from an older Valiant that vented from the top of the filler tube down under the car, before emissions rules mandated capture of gasoline vapors. I'll replace the tank with the right one and sell the old one to someone in need.
