the M3/M4 grille have grown on me but the M2 grille wins all day...I love your car man, you speced it perfect. The best colors in my opinion would be either Brooklyn grey, red or Black. I know the word is BMW won't make an AWD version but if they do I'll definitely be getting one.

On the front end I'd body match the horizontal bottom cross bar to create a tunnel like look and put mesh behind there to stop rocks and such. IMO the Harman Kardon systems have always sounded great.

I have a m2 g87, when starting hard I got stuck in first gear and I think I reached the injection cut-off, that affects the engine in some way, should I be worried about my engine? Should the engine be prepared for these situations?

I hated this car in the initial leaked pics, but I was invited to the launch event, and in person it's fkn fire! I love it. It states its intentions perfectly. The only real downside is the same as the G8x's - because the platform was designed for EV's as well, the combustion engine versions end up unnecessarily heavy. That's a sign of the times though - we are living in a weird place between combustion and electric rn. The S58 makes up for the added weight, and the step forward in chassis capability makes it all very accessible - your grandma can drive this M car.

Nice review. People have legit made fools of themselves knit picking this car. How dare BMW make a 453 hp sports car under $70k😆. I owned 2 different previous Gen M2’s and have a G80 on the way. It’s saddening that such a great car (every Gen) has so many whiny followers.

We always get people yelling on both sides of this camp. Subjective opinion... I don't like that color blue, never have... whatever I don't like that there's no side vent... Whatever! Old BMWs didn't either. I don't like the black chin, under the grill. It Gives it a fu manchu look... Whatever! Fix it yourself! I'll take an F87 CS all day over this... Whatever! Who cares! It weighs too much... Yeah, facts! I still like the car, regardless of the design updates, and I'm loving the aftermarket changes being made to it already. PSi for example. Let's keep it going bro 🙌🙌 can't wait to see more updates on this.

I think it's a brilliant car. I prefer the exterior styling of the previous gen, but this new version isn't 'bad' it's just the old gen was perfect and it is unrealistic to expect anything to compare. This is good and interesting, but it's not as nice as the old one. The car is technically brilliant.

I noticed when you're accelerating from 3rd gear at around 3000rpm, there seems to be only minor turbo-lag, but when Throttle House reviewed the car, they said it had "no guts" below 3500rpm (keep in mind they did it at 4th gear). That incident has become infamous and it blew up on the BMW forums, but what are your thoughts/experiences?

There's definitely a bit of lag down low. More noticeable on 3rd and 4th gear. 1st and 2nd are fine. Actually talked about it in the M2 video before this one. And will also talk about it again, in my next M2 video.

The carbon bucket seats on the m2 are no longer an option anymore, nobody can get them in NA. I had mine spec out to have carbon bucket seats, and was supposed to arrive, but I got the call, from my dealership saying that BMW no longer will be making carbon bucket seats as an option, and I emailed BMW North America, and they said it was no longer a thing since production in November 2022 which is interesting because they still got it listed on their website. The carbon bucket seat option is no longer available for majority of the m cars beside the CS or CSL cars from what I've been told.

Personally I have a 230i M-sport. Car is plenty quick for a daily and I have already ran Fastest in Class at a couple motor sport events. The M2 is great but lets face it, this KZbinr and the overwhelming majority of you guys on the internet can't drive for shit and take full advantage of the M2s potential. Even with my 230i I am already kicking ass and I still feel that my skill level is the limiting factor in my performance on track. This KZbinr and the majority of people buying this car are just flexing their ego. Most of you guys don't need this much car. Just save your money and learn how to get good. Too many people these days flexing with their cars when they can't drive for shit.
