After dragging it for so long I finally decided it was time to tune my F10 M5. The car is already extremely capable from factory but you know how it is, we always want more! While I am not trying to go full insane power wise with the M5, I still want it to be slightly faster than most people out there on the road. Amazing car, i really like your videos 👍🏻💪🏻 Just wanted to say I wouldn't accelerate in MDM mode with a Stage 2 tune because the clutch could slip and be destroyed. Two of my friends had this problem. Everytime while speedin the traction controle should be turned completely off. This is how i do in my F10 M5 too.

Yea, I also do this... because the traction control is using the clutches to limit the wheel spin. At least from what I've read.

One thing to note. MHD has dual DME logging. MHD can see the ignition timing and timing correction on cylinders 5 through 8. Its the superior product as BM3 cannot see that info. Also, your codes are VANOS related on the exhaust side so I'd start to dig in there.

You absolutely right. Right away sounds like clutch slippage on gear changes. Too much torque in the ots tubes

You can make the car burble only on sport mode, which is what I did.

There is a sweet spot for burbles, most people overdo it. On Bootmod3 there is an MPPSK setting which I think is perfect. OEM Plus approved.

@@mkvB58KING yea it should burble ever so slightly. Shouldn’t sound like a 30 rd mag Ak47. That shits annoying. Think of a AMG gt63s when you let off the gas in sport. It gives a slight burble. I think that’s the perfect sweet spot

I have bootmod3 for my M5 it doesn’t let you change the burble settings and makes the car run a bit rough at idle, not to mention there hasn’t been an update on it in over a year. Save your money and stick with MHD

They don’t update because people don’t send data logs for issues. They can’t update without client issues. I had problems with the N20 tune and after contacting support they quickly used my data logs and updated the tune.

No ACN91 support and they list a E30 tune when these cars HPFP cannot keep up with E30 makes me think I’ll be staying BM3.

MHD’s site still doesn’t say that they support the F10 M5. Only the F90’s. I’m curious if this is a something they did for you, or if your running a F90 map on your F10

Just so everyone is aware, these kinds of tunes void your warranty with Bmw. ISTA will throw a warning after a vehicle scan and voids the warranty

Not completely true, I've brought my 340i tuned with MHD to get some electrical issues fixed through warranty. It's whether or not whatever breaks because of the tune like something mechanical, then it wouldn't be covered under warranty.

Why has the F10 M5 tunning been in beta for almost a year now? They don’t even list the F10 M5 being supported on their site still. I have BM3 and would like to try the MHD but being beta and they have no ACN91 solution yet is kind of scary. Also the fact I see an E30 tune on there when these cars HPFP can not keep up with E30 is 🤷🏻‍♂️. It’s almost like it’s based on a F90 map and they are making changes as people report issues.

I think your air filters do something because it seems something with you can change your air filter box on an f10 m5 so it makes over 600 hp

you need to use OEM or soft setting max or it sounds ricey. 0-6400 rpm is how the m power kit works on the 340 for burbles

I'm running the Mitchlin SP4S and I had traction in 2nd before stage 2 tune also... now it breaks loose in 3rd at 60mph! I thought about trying the MHD tune, because of the extra features and they have the DCT tune also. You'll have to do a review on what you think about the DCT tune 🤞👍

I'm full bolt on with custom map. Unless my tyres are hot. (P4s all round) and the roads are nice and warm. It has enough power to light tyres at high triple figures. I never let it shift at more than 50/60% throttle. Scared me a few times now. No clutch slip at 754bhp 826nm

Before modifying an s63 you’ll need to build the engine in order to avoid limits with the factory parts. They can make lots of power but not long term unless internals are upgraded.

@@lorenzocosta9992 you’ll be safe with downpipes and exhaust however I suggest getting downpipes and tune at the same time or even all three exhaust downpipes and tune. I’ll give you a month before you want to buy an Intake and then maybe 2 months before you want to buy your next mod lol it’s addicting. Good luck 👍🏽
