Yes it does live up to its expectations, i just bought one and i am loving it so much…i absolutely love driving in sports mode, this baby takes off quick!.. ive been getting so many compliments on this suv..i have the crystal handle shifting which is a beautiful and attractive design. no complaints here!!

Going 40-50mph and having such serene quiet and comfortable ride, I can easily say 2023 BMW X5 x40 was the most comfortable vehicle I ever drove!!

This is M sport package. The package has sportier front and rear bumpers and paint matched wheel arch trim

I sold mine after 2 years. The seatbelt height cannot adjust and was always cutting into my neck. For some reason this shape is very susceptible to stone chips. Replaced 3 windscreens during my ownership. Getting in and out of the car is difficult in most parking areas because of the width of the vehicle.

Sounds like very personal issues. Nothing to do with the car itself. I’ve had my 2023 X5 M50i, in Arizona nonetheless, where rocks/stones are everywhere in the desert. No rocks on windshield issues. Seatbelt comfort, nope. Width of the vehicle? Oh, boy. I park far away from other vehicles, so never a problem. If you are consistently trying to get a close spot, instead of just walking, this may be an issue for some. However, I’m not cramming a $100k vehicle next to other vehicles, just for a closer spot.

That's my thought process but I'd have to test drive this and a x3 to make up my decision
