So you agree that our tax money should be" allocated" (read thrown into the wind) just because it was allocated with no assurance at all that it will do what it is supposed to do? HUD is the best resource to understand what that money was for and if it will be used for the purpose intended. That's called being responsible with our tax money but, your political agenda is more important, isn't it?

Velasquez tore Carson to dust, not that much was needed considering he looked like he was in a trance and had a questionable lethargic demeanor in presenting himself showing no knowledge, research, or energy to set forward goals and steps to accomplish what HUD is suppose to represent. This is clearly a department that does not make sense to cut funds but yet needs to add more vigilance is searching for the unethical practices some of the slum lords get away with. Obviously Carson is not the leader to accomplish anything that will help the poor citizens who need the most but why should we expect anything from this catastrophic administration!!

You are my only political hero and the only one who shows a president should be empathetic. Please run for president. The descendentes of Taínos need someone like you to fight for us because local governments ignore us too. Pennsylvania counties of Lancaster and Montgomery ignore our pleads. We are constantly under bracket of livable income. I’m changing that for myself and my children, I teach to speak up against cruelty and to be respectful human beings. Also how important it is to stay safe. It’s coming to the point where the government reunited them with the man that they revealed traumatized memories each weekend he was suppose to be a father. After first session, I spoke about the responses they had at home of fear and behaviors. I asked if they end this as my children asked me but was told I’d be held in contempt and the “domestic violence” attorney would drop herself from this case. They say keep it up to the professionals and shows no remorse for the well being of their mental being. I was given only two options by the free lawyer due to having low income, drop protection order or reunification to extend protection. But no protection for their little brains from reliving harsh memories. It’s my job to take care of them, but professionals said it’s my fault for bringing court into in. Sorry, I thought that’s what I was suppose to do as a mandated reporter and mother. No wonder why woman are scared to speak up against abuse. I will continue to speak up, in my heart and as many people from the communities keep praying for us.

on Oct. 9th maintainance work was left working in ketchen, as me and secretary were talking in diningroom, he was in ketchen loosening a picture above my sink, and put scratches on frig. no ones been monitoring this coruption

These politicians in all these hearings make me want to throw up. These are not oversite hearings, they are political talking points to make the opposibg party look bad that's it nothing more. I wish congressmen and senators would just go home they serve no purpose, dump the 2 party system we have, let tge govoners of each state take over the federal govt. I imagine others countries laugh their asses of at us as a nation being run by clowns.
