I loathe when animated shows do body swap plots and feel the need to swap the voice actors absolutely killing the comedic potential created by having your voice actors copy each other's speech patterns. If anyone has seen the Justice League Unlimited episode where the Flash switches bodies with Lex Luthor knows how much comedic potential there is in having voice actors imitate each other. I was just about to praise Velma for having the vocal chord line and having her speak in Daphne's voice but then they immediately do the terrible trope of just giving them the personalities voice after acknowledging that it makes zero sense.

Those missiles only exist in maintenance and construction facilities without warheads or fuel, or theyre buried in one of 400 silos in Nebraska, Wyoming, South Dakota....hitting literally any missile, nuclear or not, with a carpenters hammer even as hard as possible, would do nothing except maybe cause a dent. Theyre also huge and once they achieve liftoff we nor any other country can shoot them down (that would defeat their purpose). However, there are multiple ways to disarm, redirect the impact, and other safety stuff available. Even many cruise missiles have these features now. I cant believe im watching something so stupid.

I'm glad you're willing to suffer for us so we don't have to watch the show on max ourselves. Unlike the original version, this Velma is shown to be an obsessive, arrogant, and above all narcissistic sociopath, given with how she frequently engages in criminal behavior, and her complete lack of empathy for anyone else, even her loved ones. She deliberately pays no attention to others, but became hostile that they didn't regularly pay attention to her, making her a hypocrite. Due to her narcissism, she thinks her "intelligence" makes her superior towards and constantly displays a holier-than-thou mentality towards others. Velma is also very petty and vindictive to anyone who wrongs her, as she will stoop to any low to get back at them, as shown when she reads Daphne's journal in front of the whole school in an attempt to humiliate and destroy her reputation out of spite for hurting her. Even her father remarks on this, and she is voted for "most revenge-y" by her classmates. She also doesn’t take responsibility or show remorse for her actions, going so far as to say that nothing is ever her fault. She is also unpleasant and flat out abusive towards her friends, as she treats Norville with zero respect and enjoys insulting and manipulating him, showed no interest in Fred getting framed for the murders and didn't do much to help him (nor did she care when dancing over Victoria's body in front of him), and is abusive and toxic towards Daphne despite the two having feelings for each other. To top if all off, Velma is shown to be incredibly racist, sexist, and just overall bigotted. She often blames her problems on Caucasian men, and even goes so far as to take delight in their sufferings. Her hypocrisy shines through when she confronts those attributing negative stereotypes to minorities, then immediately goes on using them herself. Her actions have reached a point where the entire town despises her. She is incredibly superficial. Despite noting Fred's personality flaws, she is sexually attracted to him; and despite their bitter estrangement from their original friendship, Velma grows to find Daphne sexually attractive - even though all of their present day interactions are hateful and lack chemistry, Velma's superficiality drives her to desire Daphne. However, Velma is not without her good side. Despite treating her badly in her childhood, she genuinely cares for her mother Diya, who Velma prioritized finding for her entire childhood. She also cares about her friends at times and did a heroic deed of stopping Fred's mom and her killing spree, although she took all the credit even though her friends helped her.

My grandma worked for the DOD and i can confirm that if you went on base without authorization or even approached the gate they would blast your ass straight to the next world. I remember having to hide in the back seat to get in cause the guards were nuts

I mean, authors aren't competent enough to know there's law against phones in court, so they probably don't know about court security either.

Y'know, I've never been in the military, but I'm 100% certain you aren't even allowed near a Nuke or missile in general before you can even enroll in Basic Training. Like, Bitchy and Punching Bag here ain't even Boots yet, and this "General" is just showing off the high-grade explosive armaments. Hell, unless you're in Starship Troopers (the book, not the movie), you aren't allowed to handle nukes with your hands unless you're making nuclear armaments or loading them into Submarines or Bomber planes. Or a special technician, either repairing, setting up, or dismantling the armament. Also, those lesbian officers deserve to be fired from their jobs. They are not only incompetent to an insanely dangerous degree but have shown that they will compromise an investigation to ensure their upper growth. They are not only incompetent but outright malicious. If I were the mayor, I'd have thrown them in jail myself for life. I'd even throw Velma, Daphne, Norville and Fred in jail for obstruction of Justice. The funny thing, too? The Obstruction of Justice thing was a plot point and joke SEVERAL TIMES in Mystery Incorporated and it worked, because not only did it make sense, but it was both consistent and funny. The gang was told to stay away from the mystery, they didn't, and they would be arrested. And it made sense. Here, it's just a bad, horrible threat that doesn't work

53:48 Fred has a Flintstones ringtone. I sure hope certain people don’t take a character from that show, turn them black and gay, and ruin it like Velma 🙄 I just realised Fred has a Flintstones ringtone Fred…Flintstone. 😩

33:36 This is why I listen to your commentary. You’re not afraid to just say it like it is. Some people would debate or argue, “Well, maybe after your kids are 18, you can just leave them be, to their own devices.” No, you should BE THERE for your child, physically, mentally, and emotionally. No one else in the entire universe can replacement you as their parent. It’s special. Thank you for that moment of genuine words from the heart.

Conspiracy theory time: What if this show is achieving it's REAL goal? What if they WANT us to root for Fred, and the sparce few likable characters like him? From what I've seen, there's zero evidence to back this up, and I don't believe it myself, but think it'd be absolutely hilarious if that were the case.

The people who say that people don’t like Velma solely because of the politics fail to realize that this show is literally turning people away from the political views they think they’re promoting by making this show as shitty and making the characters as insufferable as possible. It’s like a parent telling their kids why they shouldn’t roll around in mud by listing all the “bad stuff” but makes the kid want to roll around in it even more

So something I noticed ... Velma isn't even in this "recap" of this episode. The main character isn't in the recap of her own show named after her ... I think this shows the impact that Velma has. Or lack thereof.
