Does it count as spoilers if you have absolutely no idea what it's spoiling before you already know the context? In some openings you can kind of guess; like a straw hat member is separated, or a character pushes a certain character forward before disappearing, things like that were you can guess ond often come to the right conclusion. But with this opening, you will literally not catch and understand anything before you actually know and have gotten that far in the story.

Fun fact: the singer, Hiroshi Kitadani, was born without the part of the brain where bad songs come from. Man has not missed once. We Are. We Go, We Can, Over The Top, and now Assu? I’m sure this opening won’t be around for too long, but I hope whenever the series ends they get him to do the final opening.

@@Juply to my knowledge in the song they’re saying “us” in English, and with the japanese accent the way they pronounce it is “Assu”. So the title is “Assu!” And the English title is technically “UUUUUS!”

Funny that you say it looks like an omelette… but that aside Opening 26th is called “Assu!” by Hiroshi Kitadani who also created opening 1 “We Are!”, opening 15 “We Go!”, opening 19 “We Can” (with Kishidan), & opening 22 “OVER THE TOP” while Ending 20 is “Dear sunrise” by Maki Otsuki who also created ending 1 “memories” & ending 2 “Run! Run! Run!” - I too wanted Carrot to join 😢

I actually didn't want Carrot to join😅 I liked her as a side character, but if she were to become a Strawhat, she would be the only StrawhatI was not 100% on board with, wich felt pretty iffy. So I was glad she never joined and was just with them for a bit.

Momo, Kinemon and Carrot rode with the Strawhats for YEARS. Punk Hazard started in 2012. Zou was 2015. 2015. Carrot was riding with the crew for 7 damn years. But after Wano ended they got their pink slips and were escorted to the door. I get Kinemon and Momo not joining, Wano is in terrible shape, Kinemon is sticking with Momo and Momo has a responsibility to Wano. And he's like, 8? That too. But Carrot was just straight up written out. "You-gara need to go back to Zou because Oda hates drawing your Sulong form". Even Yamato got us with the head fake and bailed at the last second. But at least Yamato never set foot on the Sunny. Plus, I like Bonney, but bringing an actual 12 year old kid along for the most dangerous part of the adventure seems kind of... Well, Kuma would probably have some things to say bout that. I'll hold out for Vivi I guess.

I (and many others)hoped Carrot was going to join the crew too, but (at least in the manga, i have not watched the anime episode that corresponds with the chapter) Carrot never agreed to the Duke's offer, i am hoping that she appoints that one dog mink and the musketeer lion mink (i am blanking on their names) as co rulers while she goes up and joins the Straw Hats or something, but never the less i have a feeling she will show up for the final war (hopefully)
