R.I.P Scott Weiland. I've been listening to Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver the whole day. I remember I saw VR live back in 2005 (orlando, fl) and it was a great night. Not only because I got to see Slash perform for the 1st time ever but because Scott totally surprised me with his craziness and high-energy. He was undeniebly one of the best frontman I got see live. Since the 90s STP has been part of the soundtrack of my life. Thanks for the memories and GREAT MUSIC. Rock on in heaven.

I laugh at the explanation the band came up with to explain the name Velvet Revolver. It was a fuck you to Axl. Velvet = Rose and Revolver = Gun. It's so obvious. Axl had them sign away the name and their rights to it, so they came up with a similar name and signed a world-class deal and achieved a no. 1 band on their own!
