I find this fight humorously accurate. In the Star Wars universe, a venator easily outguns a munificent frigate (up to 5-6 frigates) understanding why the CIS needed multiple frigates or higher class ships to challenge even a small battle fleet

Well, I know the first mistake. Never come at a star destroyer head on, that wedge design means pretty much all the weapons on the ship will be firing at you at once. That's why the Munificent's shields were being depleted faster, because the destroyer was able to put out about 2x the damage. Now, for a real chance this should have been a 2 on 1 battle.

Idazmi7 Star Destroyers tend to come in from below and slightly angle up their cannons, thus allowing them to fire everything forwards.

I'm thinking that the Vennator being the new champion, it can go up against a few more ships until it's knocked out. Though a low orbit battle would be cool, mostly to see how well the ships can recover from getting dragged into the gravity well of the planet.

These battles are so much better in atmosphere. The ships actually crash instead of just slowly drift into space. The battles are also a lot quicker/more exciting.

You should use a Providence ship against the Jedi cruser. Even in the series the separatist frigate was considered weaker than the ventor class cruiser. But that was really cool video though! Thanks and continue the ship battles they are awesome.

The Venitor has the advantage of incredibly strong upwards firepower when engaging from lower altitude and broadsiding. Just guessing by the weapon layout it's nearly impossible for a single Venitor to lose in a 1V1.

Awesome design for both of the ships.Although lore wise the munificent class(droid ship) is a patrol frigate and was not designed to win a fight against a Venator.According to the lore 5 munificent frigates can bring down a venator but if you want a perfect match against the venator that is the providence class destroyer.Yet again awesome video.

The venator is more than a match for the frigate. It's a smaller class ship and was smaller overall. But frigates used numbers. That was a beautifuly built venator.

You should do a fleet battle in space where the republic has a venator and a smaller republic ship(of your choosing I don't know what's on the workshop) against 3 munificent frigates, but both side have fighters. The republic could arc fighters and a y-wing and the confederacy could have vulture droids.

Venators usually carry 192 V-Wings or V-19 Torrents, 192 Eta-2 Actis class, and 36 ARC-170s, it's not always it carried Y-Wings. 420 in total, with some walkers and LAAT.

I'm a bit late to comment (came over here from your Venator vs. Providence video; haven't watched it yet though) and chances are nobody will read this unnecessarily long comment, but I'll write it anyway. So, first off, the Venator shouldn't have had that gun on the bow; only the eight dual gun batteries next to the bridge and two medium turbolasers sticking out of the sides where you placed those green flak guns (there would also be 52 flak turrets all over the place (and 38 of them on the Munificent) but I'll just ignore them for this match-up). Already, the Star Frigate would have had slightly higher chances at winning (or at least doing minor hull damage), since it would have been the first to have a clear shot. The second thing is about how the two of you were flying around: Sure, since the ships aren't to scale it would be hard to cram 26 dual turbolaser batteries on the droid ships' bow, so it was outgunned by default, but aside from that, ninja should have stopped moving (technically he should have started to to accelarate backwards, but y'know) at about 1:49 where essentially all of his guns could have shot you simultaniously. By moving forward, he automatically lost because all of his guns (not counting the flak/gatling at the top along the "spine" of the ship, since they don't really matter with you guys using shields and all) were unable to shoot at you, while your 8 batteries could still unload on him. I'm not complaining about this video or the two of you, I'm merely saying that there's some slight inaccuracies here and there and that the outcome was decided before the actual fight really started.

Agreed the Venator is in reality a Armored Battlecarrier (that’s what it would be called if we were going by function it’s a battleship carrier hybrid that can take a beating). Yet the Munificent class Star-Frigate in function is actually a frigate a heavy frigate at that but a frigate nonetheless. Meant to be part of a larger formation with forward facing guns perfect for blockading and escorting but screwed in any other facet. It stands no chance....
