Don't you mean stacking builds? Procs build include a lot more items than just tablet of destinies..

Peopls are just building book of toth but the best mage item was and allway gonna be chronos pendant , cdr on mages is the must cause they main sources of damages are theyr abilities , like peopls building for example book of toth on Merlin it's trash when you just look dash of merlin early it's 20 sec , you take early chronos pendant your way more pro active on the game early to late game. or tho' you can comprimise of doing book then chronos pendant it should work too.

merlin is late game mage and chronos is not good lategame as Pendulum of Ages is a greater choice than chronos
