Sorry for pausing and talking so much. I just like to share my thoughts. I read all your comments and I appreciate the feedback but a lot of people are really rude so sometimes I do not feel like doing this at all BUT I do like learning about Australia and it is my dream country so I will continue.

Don't let the few rude ones put you off. I think you can block them. Keep doing what you enjoy. We all have to start somewhere. 😍

Hon, no one is being rude. Us Aussies are very honest people, and are telling you how we feel. If you're going to have a reaction channel on YT, then you have to expect it. I have visited your channel 5 or 6 times now, and each time I've read all the comments, and you've been told these things over and over again, but you're not listening to your audience and changing your ways. So if you're not going to listen, take it on board, then improve what you're doing, then you can't expect your audience to stay. NO ONE is going out of their way to insult you or bring you down, they're telling you the truth so it gives you the chance to correct your mistakes. Good luck with it all

I get that you're reacting which obviously requires some ....well, reactions.... but I think pulling up every 10 or 20 seconds might be a little excessive. Have a look at Rob Squad Reactions or The Wolf Hunterz or Shawn Salvadori for comparison.

I saw John Farnham at a concert in Adelaide in South Australia. This was the song he finished with. Everyone was on their feet singing along, to the point where we almost drowned out John. And I can't sing to save my life. But that didn't stop me.

In 2022, John had an operation for oral cancer, which required a large jaw reconstruction. He is an awesome singer, and this song " The Voice " must be the best that has come out of Australia. We love John and wish him the best. Thanks for checking him out.

I thought this was a brilliant reaction. You actually paid attention to every aspect of the performance and trying to understand what was going on. A true first time reaction to a new artist and a journey of discovery. Going from thinking it was going to be about a classical music piece to realising... nope it's a great singer. This is what happens when an Aussie Legend and his band performs his most famous song with a full symphony orchestra backing him up. It's a powerful song with a powerful message sung by a powerful singer. It is an Anthem here in Australia 🇦🇺 which has stood the test of time for close on 30 years and is still as popular today. It's one song that has dropped in and out of our musoc charts for decades. And John Farnham has been the darling of the Aussie music industry since he began as a teenager in the 60's. He has a huge fan base of very protective and loyal followers. ❤ If you want to check some other popular performances from the same concert I'm pretty sure you'll be blown away. Look for Help or It's a Long Way to the Top❤❤

I know this is a reaction video and all, but how can you get a true sense of a song when you're pausing it every 10 seconds? You're stopping constantly to express every thought that pops into your head, so much so that come the end of the song you've really got nothing further to say. IMO it would make your videos far more watchable if you paused less often and left most of your thoughts and commentary till the end - it might help to avoid pausing so often by reacting in non-verbal ways (e.g. facial expressions, hand gestures, dancing in your seat, etc). Also, you can always go back to parts of the song after an initial listen through if there's something in particular that you want to hear again or highlight. Anyway, this is meant simply as some friendly constructive feedback. Thanks and keep the reactions coming.

May I suggest that you only pause a couple of times and then do a wrap up at the end. John is the G.O.A.T. and sing any genre. If you research John and this song, you'll read about its history and what it means to Autralians and to so many other people around the world - thanks to KZbin. He is a wonderful person and is Australias favourite son. 😍

I was there … awesome concert 😎 He became famous in the late 60s, very big in the early 70s and by the 80s sort of ‘disappeared’. Then he released this song around the mid-80s and blew away ALL the records !! They actually changed the original ‘key’ of the song so they could use bagpipes. Since he has an all-powerful voice, they decided to do a series of concerts with an 80 piece orchestra, instead of a ‘normal’ concert with 6 or so band members. There are other videos of him singing… you won’t be disappointed 😊

I love the fact that you were getting this oh so deliciously wrong. I am right now, while texting this comment to you, anticipating your reaction to what is about to happen. Thank you for this lovely gift to my afternoon. I will now unpause your video as I post this to you.

Loved your reaction, you actually listened and watched what was going on, I hope you do more, this Concert was in1989, the song 'You're the Voice' was released 3 years earlier (but not with an Orchestra ) so yes, everyone at the concert knew it, It was John's idea to add the bagpipes to the song, - ( John is a Londoner by birth, family immigrated to Australia when John was about 10 - now a much loved Australian) - other songs to do- HELP and IT'S A LONG WAY TO THE TOP from this same concert, - and then there is a whole big list of songs you can do, - pop, rock, soul, opera, musicals, you name it - he can sing it

As others have commented, too much pausing and interrupting to keep the flow of the music, also too much verbosity. I wish you well and do intend this to be constructive criticism, I won't be subscribing based on this reaction but I wish you well. I suggest that you try to keep thoughts in your head longer preventing pausing so often, I think you'll have more audience retention, you're reacting to music but the flow of the lyrics and music gets lost with frequent stopping and starting. This can be off-putting to a viewer whom know's the song, that's why that viewer clicked play in the first place.

John Farnham is an English born Australian artist. It was at John's insistence that the bagpipes were used in the song, I've heard other performances where they used a keytar in place of the bagpipes; it's not the same, it should always be bagpipes.

The big drum is called a Bass Drum. Every orchestra and brass band has them. It was originally a military instrument in armies all over the world, so not just Scottish. Your views from a Venezuelan perspective were interesting, but I have to say, in the nicest possible way, that the number of pauses in the first 30 seconds were a little excessive, and made it harder for you to understand the song at that point. I look forward to your next video, though. 😀

Just some advice with music videos. If you havnt herd a song before listen to it but a pause once or twice is fine and also KZbin wont give you a mark on your name. If your a person who's a professional and keep pausing it to explain the performance thats fine. Not being rude or as such just trying to help you out become better at it. Think of the comments are the teacher speaking to you and your the student taking it all in. Youll get there just keep working on it. Your doing ok just need to polish up on some things.👍

Originally, this song was written for a community's protest in the UK. With the music video, however, it soon became an empowering song about stopping domestic violence.

This comment is to try to help you and is not a criticism, what you have to understand is 95% of the people who have clicked on this are very familiar with the song, and John Farnham (pronounced Farnum) as it was a world wide hit, so giving a running commentary on what every one can see for them selves will not help grow your channel, people watch reactors for there opinion the performance

First time seeing one of your reactions, but sorry, I gave up watching at bagpipes time. It's okay to stop during the song once or twice to give a progressive reaction (and also to dodge copyright strikes from KZbin) before giving a comprehensive reaction afterwards, but it's _exasperating_ when a reviewer stops the video every few seconds. You're not even giving yourself a chance to get into the groove of the song. I gather from the comments that many viewers have made this point to you time and again, but obviously to no effect, so I probably won't bother clicking on any more of your reactions. Good luck with your learning experience.
