We loved the Venice Canal Mall and were happy that we decided to explore Metro Manila for 1 week before Island hopping. Many told us to get out of Manila as soon as possible to go to other islands, but we were glad we explored the city life first and were very impressed! We are very surprised at the response. We have been so much more welcomed in the Philippines than any other country. We are happy to recommend the Philippines as a great destination at a wonderful value. We are behind on our editing, but we went to Hawaii after the Philippines, and we were so disappointed. It cost 10 times as much, and the beaches weren't as beautiful as many in the Philippines. Plus, the Filipino people are much more welcoming. We ended up not even filming in Hawaii because, unfortunately, we didn't have that great of an experience and didn't want to do a negative video...

Other foreign vloggers bought a condo in BGC as their main base to travel around the country and do Island hopping and others do explore southeast Asia as well and they always come back here as the prices were cheap. Manila really surprised us with the world class shopping and restaurants! A lot complain about the traffic but it didn't bother us. We also tried local transportation of Jeepney, Tricycle and the train! We'll be showing that in the next video along with going to local markets and trying local food!☺️🇵🇭❤️

Philippines is so diverse. You can have the city, provinces, rural areas, mountains and beaches all in one Country. Be sure to explore, traffic will be crazy in Manila, but dont let that from enjoying the city. Take a Grab avoid Taxis scams. Enjoy Philippines!

It’s in Aseana City, where you will find world class casino resorts like Okada, Solaire and City of Dreams. Philippines has an intense "mall culture", the SM Mall of Asia located in Pasay City is the 4th Biggest mall in the entire world, it also holds the record of Largest IKEA in the world. the Philippines has (i think) 3 malls in the Top 10 list Biggest malls in the world. This is due to the harsh heat in the country, many filipinos would go to malls to cool down and the fact that malls here have literally everything you need, Shopping, Groceries, Entertainment, Churches, etc.

For example, this is the address I have for the Grand Canal mall: McKinley Hill Dr, Taguig, 1630 Metro Manila, Philippines I understand that there are 16 city regions and 1 municipality within Metro Manila, but aren't all the city regions party of Metropolitan Manila? I apologize for our confusion. What is the new address? I can't find National Capital Region in any officially address, all I see is addresses ending in Metro Manila. Have they changed it recently?

You might be surprised to find a lot of foreign establishments in Manila that you don’t find in other states in the US. And the malls in the Philippines are incomparable. Enjoy your stay.

Yes, we saw the most Western chains out of any of the countries we've been outside the USA in Manilla. We want to try to eat local food as much as possible but also nice to have food we're familiar with from home!🙂
