Venice is the only city in the world that elicits pangs of envy whenever I watch someone else enjoying it. But, I've been fortunate enough to have had lunch at the top of the Hotel Gritti Palace where a view of the gondolas by St Mark's Square can be had. The next time around, you should visit the Guggenheim Museum which was originally Peggy Guggenheim's palazzo. You can hang around its terrace and watch the boats go by after seeing its extensive surrealist collection. The glass factories and galleries in Murano would be another great trip, but you did try that on this stop. Hope you'll find Rome just as fascinating as the ruins are simply unmatched.

Hi Leah! ❤️ No, we did not see that actually. The water was really high in the morning, but not to the point of flooding. I hope Venice will be able to find a solution to protect it's city. But I'm so happy to be traveling again. This was my first trip to Europe in 3 years. I hadn’t seen my family in 3 years, so felt so good to be back. I hope you get to visit Europe soon! I saw that finally Australia is making it a "bit" easier to travel now? Or did I misunderstand? I can’t wait to check out your channel too. From a vlogger to another, I'm so happy when I meet people who knows how hard it is haha. Tanks for the video. But as an italian, living not far from Venice, would ask to all the travel KZbinrs of the world to STOP using “mandolin” music for italian videos. Mandolin WAS used in south Italy. Nowadays nobody play mandolin. I’ve never knew of someone playing it or studying it. And most of all Venezia is in the NORTH. Last time someone in Venice played a mandolin was in the reinaissance 😂🤷🏻‍♂️🥹👋🏻
