You should spread awareness that The Peoples Concern will give license vouchers for the DMV, providing them an address, so they can get an ID. Then they have to make it to and through the line at DPSS, for immediate cash and food benefits, as well as Medi-cal. Medi-cal will provide rides to doctor appointments. *The ID & Calworks will get them a free phone at DPSS.*The homeless case workers are sitting on their ass, drinking coffee, ignoring calls, talking shit, allowing the cycle to go on repeat. We have to spread awareness and then find advocates that take action, not sit around pushing paper and transferring calls to dead ends. The denial of correct information, basic human rights, and identification would drive ANYONE to insanity or drugs or both. We cannot complain about immigrants getting special treatment when we won't sponsor our own homeless and get them through this process. I have one person I am helping and he gets his own place next week. If volunteers sponsored ONE homeless person to make it through that process, then they have hope that motivates them and a fighting chance.

The location in this video is directly in front of Whole Foods Market on Lincoln in Venice adjacent to Marina Del Rey. It has now become a Druggie Addiction Encampment. Keep in mind there are no doubt needles, spent syringes, etc scattered all over the sidewalk including urine and you know what else. Just imagine how the employees and customers of Whole Food Market feel with this going on directly in front of the store. Just think, these people at will can walk right into Whole Foods Market and camp out in the restrooms or the Food Court seating area, etc. Would you chance parking at this Whole Foods Market, getting out of your car, and walking into the store not knowing what's going to happen when you get out of your car. I moved from Venice many years ago and at that time it was nothing like it is today. Used to go to this Whole Foods Market location dozens of times but never again after seeing the video just today. I was totally shocked to see this, i.e. this encampment at Whole Foods Market. Just imagine how Management feels about it as well as the customers. No doubt fewer customers go here now because of this. Very sad matter what's going on in our society today.

A nightmare existence. If people aren't masochists & don't want to be trapped in a cycle of homelessness surrounded by dirt, chaos & misery, they should rather fall sleep & never wake up again. Contrast that with people who have so much to live for, & so much to give to those around them, yet see their life cut short by a fatal illness or, even worse, tragic accident (eg, Kobe Bryant). Or, worst of all, are victims of a fatal crime. If God/Gaia/Allah/Buddha/Mother-Nature were kind & equitable, it would balance all those contradictions.

I think it's important that you as a city and the LAPD make sure that you don't end up without garbage dumps anymore because we vacationers bring a lot of money to your country and cities but we spend less and less of it because it is so dirty and littered but you live from us vacationers and from tourism so you can also expect it to be reasonably clean and not on every corner If you're approached by the homeless, you've got a dollar for me. That's terrible. Being approached over and over again by the homeless is especially bad on the beaches. You have to be careful that nothing gets stolen by the homeless and the police have to patrol more Walking and driving to get away from work because otherwise vacationers would like to go somewhere else and spend their money there😂😂😂
