@@zzzz-sf5lr I did have a suggestion I've made several times over about a way to cap greed which would be to limit business owners from making more than double their lowest paid employee. Obviously excess funds would either go back to the company or the staff. The option for housing I've proposed many times (not in office but I should be!) Is to remove property taxes altogether and cap every home to $1/sq ft max for businesses and single family homes, etc. This massive reset would mean all Americans would receive rent relief, property owners wouldn't be incentivized to raise rent because they would not be paying property taxes, and if we outlawed companies from buying single family homes the market would flood with affordable housing.

If your life partner made as many mistakes as your government you'd leave them. You wouldn't ask them for more help. The only way the suffering gets addressed is when those that aren't suffering begin to suffer. Unfortunately the society will change when the people have nothing to lose. Right now everyone keeps playing by the rules go to work, paying a mortgage or rent, paying an auto loan and so forth. They continue to rationalize the suffering. As long as you have yours it doesn't matter who else doesn't have. Maybe if 50 percent of society has no job and no home then there will be a change. Until then just keep going to work and paying your bills. You're not homeless so don't worry about it.

It's easy to blame homelessness on the homeless, but that's extremely short sighted. Almost every homeless person can tell you about loosing their job, about low wages that no long cover even the cheapest apartments. Medical costs have forced many people out of their housing. Even people who owned homes can loose them because of big medical bills because someone in the family had a serious illness. Many homeless people have jobs they go to every day, but can't make enough to cover a damage deposit, current and last month's rent. If they have an eviction on their records, if employers find they're homeless, it's just that much harder for people to get hired or find housing. Homelessness is going to keep growing until people receive a living wage, to redesign our healthcare system so hardworking people, even those with health insurance, can't be forced into bankruptcy if someone becomes seriously ill, and getting a handle on soaring rental rates that even middle class workers are struggling to pay. Unmitigated greed is driving it all.

Don’t worry joblessness is at all time lows😂😂😂😂 what is the unemployment numbers? Like 3% according to our, cough cough polls, data, statistics!? I’m not saying either political party is better or worse btw. This is serious. We have people starving and freezing next to obesity clinics and malls abandoned that resemble cathedrals meanwhile 70% of the worlds wealth just sits stagnate , and we refuse to let healthy 20 and 30 yr old men work or build or help and force 80 yr olds to be Greeters at Walmart! I think it’s time we revisit the concepts and people in charge. Btw no politicians are not in charge! In a system ran by money the people with it and hose who control it are in power, good news power is an illusion! Study , “ the cave “ by Plato. Great leaders can lead us to the world of light! Also then they get to live in the amazing real world themselves! Instead we are all living in fear of eachOther! Stop living in great and finger pointing! Rich and poor alike , atheist and monks let’s all stop being so weak and just help the person next to u, u can live even with a lion if it’s fed and not being abused! With technology and everyone putting in equal effort and work, pushing in the same direction we can move mountains. And the wealthy elites and bankers instead of being manipulators would beCome our brothers and sisters and hero’s not villains, and poor and working class remember what the bottom felt like when u have some power. Don’t repeat the cycle and don’t isolate urself, this is such an easy fix, or it’s a quick fall to hell. Let’s make the right balanced choice. Respect all things including ourselves

If you don’t smoke or drink or do drugs life is extremely easy. And 95% of success is simply showing up. If you’re struggling I can guarantee you if you’re honest with yourself it’s because of a self-inflicted wound.

They spend all this funding on homelessness but somehow homelessness only gets worse. 🤔

God bless those who take time out of their life to help those less fortunate. But…. unsafe, Idk why they’d send these people out to the woods(or anywhere) in the middle of the night looking for unhoused people. You can do the same thing for outreach but during daylight hours when it’s a little safer. They should come see the homeless crisis where I am. Come visit Kensington, Philadelphia. 😒

I surrendered myself to a homeless shelter in 2019 after two full decades of under-employment, low wage entry level part-time jobs after I graduated college. There was no career for me, no upward mobility, no savings. I finally just gave up bc I couldn’t struggle anymore.

I wonder how good this is if systematically that same organization is not doing anything about bringing these people from homelessness to their own residency and also taking them away from the levels of poverty. Why is this matter being show cased where the problems are but do nothing about the causes of homelessness, especially in the deep essencies of American Africans facing the brunt problem of this situation always beings talked about but nothing Systemical changing shifts of this in America for the Predominant face of homelessness in the United States of America.

I know how to solve this problem. Simply invite millions of people from the third world to come and live here. Oh, wait.............

Pick count or point time count - what is the reason this can’t be done at least twice a year? Being that the un-housed numbers have grown. Sometimes you don’t have to reinvent the wheel and are there successful homeless communities that worked out the kinks?

Put peoples in jail, not a problem, and free free jails. Plus, free Is shelter for them. More jails were built.

Honestly, Wall Street overall is the main reason we have such a homeless problem and they should have to pay to correct it.
