Thanks for these lovely photos which bring back happy memories of my own short visit to this beautiful city (where in St Mark's Square I once enjoyed the most expensive cup of coffee I've ever had!). Vivaldi's music is the perfect accompaniment.

Very nice pix of a legendary city! When I was young I visited the famous Basilica San Marco and there I had the opportunity to hear an evening organ recital by Karl Richter. He played Bach and Reger, it had been one of his last ones before he died, and for me this was really very impressive. I remember this wonderful concerto quite well!
