Performing those songs live and sounding nearly perfectly like the studio versions is absolutely astonishing. I was mesmerized. I’m 72 and like many of David’s admirers I’ve been listening to his music since The Byrds. “Those were the days my friend…we hoped they’d never end” - I don’t know about you brothers and sisters but I was smiling during this entire video. Rest peacefully David…we love you. 🙏

The best 49 minutes you will ever spend watching this. A stage chock full of serious talent led by the one and only Croz, and the looks of pure joy on the faces of the kids from St Mo High choir and band was just beautiful. I'm going back to watch it again now. Rest in Peace David.

Beautifully stated❣️ I remember when Super-Cussions came to ESHS and it was a once in a lifetime kind of a treat I don't know if they still tour USA-HS's but it's definitely a memory that will remain I was lucky enough to have met this man but I still can't imagine what it must have been like to SING with the CROZ... OMG I too was just feeling what they must have been feeling - just meeting him I was up on a cloud for 14+ hrs couldn't get to sleep that night. He had an aura I don't think He even was aware of that was gifted/shared with us Fans.

Agree with every word. I have sent to my kids in their late 30’s and early 40’s. What makes this so special is the addition of the SM choir and orchestra and Malibu Drum Corps. Fun to see young people really getting into it. One of the best concerts you will ever see with David Crosby rocking the center stage. Thank you Venice for making this beautiful tribute..

I will tell you, man. I'm 14 years old, born in November of 2009. And I've got it in my heart to keep rockin the way these folks did in your era. I've got a drum set, bass, electric and acoustic. Harmonica, keyboard. And the only band I've ever seen live was The Doobie Brothers. Money well spent. If you're losing hope, you can rest assured there's at least one of us out here gonna keep the culture alive.

The "magic" of LIVE performance can not be over stated. Here we have Crosby blending perfectly with other voices he normally didn;t work with and the harmonies are just as pure as with CSN. The set list if a Crosby Greatest Hits and they for me. ALWAYS were the true soul of CSNY. These are the beautiful songs, Wooden Ships, Guienevere, etc that never sounded the exact same twice. Crosby knew how to write ''openly" so performing each time could be open to musical interpretation. This era of music no longer exists. RIP mr Crosby.

Wow! What a school. What a concert. What a message to those kids, now adults....I wonder if they realised how special this was. ...thinking of those student musicians who heard Ohio for the first time at rehearsal for this show. How they felt when they learned the story. Their understanding of what it meant to write and perform it just a few weeks after the killing. Did they know it was all over the radio? Took a lot of guts to do that. Sometimes a musician is more than just a musician when they are the conscience of a population.

David’s music was much more than just the playlist of our lives. He was its heart and soul as well. He was our voice against unfairness and injustice, and he showed us that the only way we could win was through love. I cried almost as much as I sang throughout this concert and not because the mood was sad but because David’s passing reminds us that he and others like him are not immortal but due to his courage and willingness to express the truth, his contributions will forever live on!

Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young hold very special memories for me. I enlisted the summer of 79 prior to my 19th birthday. After basics I was sent to Ft Benning then deployed to Western Europe. I was in a very high profile military operation and being a newcomer my platoon leader invited me and several others to a jamming session in his room. Mostly he played CSNY. So with that being said and I am now 63 so 41 years later and because of the memories and listening now to his I’m really tearing up crying because so much happened in my life back then

Saw Crosby - Nash at Leicester De Montfort Hall. Possibly my greatest experience ever (though winning the Premier League was pretty cool). I have seen CSN and Neil, but that night in Leicester topped them all. I was blessed. What a huge loss. The thing about Crosby - yes, he was cantankerous at times - but, he believed in what he was doing. It's all about the truth. It's great that people get to share video like this. He was, and remains, a great American export.

Never get tired of listening to 'David Crosby'; he truly was one of the 'Best Musicians' of our generation🙏 BTW-whoever 'produced' this KZbin video did an 'Excellent Job'. Not only did they provide a 'brief description', but also 'Credited' everyone who participated in this concert, including those 'behind the scenes'. This is just gorgeous. I've probably watched the previously uploaded video of "Ohio" three dozen times because it just blows me away. To watch this six-song (plus bonus "track") is nothing short of magical. Crosby was one helluva guy. It's not that they broke the mold after they made him, it's that there was no mold; he was made freehand. Thanks to Venice and all those responsible for getting this out there. Love to you all. (And just one side-note: Try watching this keeping an eye, whenever possible, on the young woman playing violin to the immediate right of the drumkit. Her enthusiasm is positively infectious.)

Venice do so much for the local area. I first saw them at the Canyon Charter School doing a charity event which included David Crosby and others many years ago. Have seen Venice and CSN several times since them. Love their sound RIP David. Best wishes from Scotland

Towards the end, put 7 men together in a room and watch and hear and feel magic happening. Let men be men and women be women. Lets not imitate but be genuine and be creative. That last song was, is and will remain forever monumental. It vibrates through my spine each time I hear it. Its the pinnacle of their legacy. Saw CSN once in Montreux. They kept playing. From 8 pm until midnight. Just unbelievable. It was like standing on the Matterhorn and taking in awe. Mind blowing.

I really appreciate the attention to the detail of the original recordings. Usually, performers try to distinguish their performances from the originals. For example, the guitarists are genuinely trying to recreate Stills' guitar parts, and they do a great job.

Marvelous! Brought me to tears. Makes you once again realize what geniuses they are, Crosby, Stills Nash & Young as well as all the musicians and singers who contributed to this!

I saw Venice twice in Holland. Their voices are always spot on - with great songs of their own. In this setting however, with David Crosby and some of the famous CSN songs, they thrive as well in singing as handling their instruments. What a wonderful performance!
