This was the time when spin bowlers would not go to save runs. They used to have attacking field position and would invite batsmans to step out and hit over the fielders. At that time spinners never hesitated to turn and flight the ball.What was the beautiful days of cricket.

I still remember in this series Indian bowlers did exceptionally well but one player had stood like a wall against Indian bowlers, that player was Jimmi Adams. He didn't allow Indian bowlers to take his wicket. He faced maximum bowles on his pad rather on bat. In the same series Sachin got 179.
