Disagree. Lemon sized tamarind is more useful than 25g for someone cooking at home with no weighing scale

😅I should have said it differently. He always says it like ' 25g tamarind in 100ml water'. Most people don't tell tamarind:water ratio which spoils the dish (at least for me) :)

I agree. I know a weighing scale is not usually used but it is very helpful in getting the quantity right especially if you new to cooking or trying to cook a new dish. A ‘lemon sized’ tamarind can mean different things to different people and that’s why the dish ends up tasting different from what we expect. The chef knows what he is talking about!

People who get cooking videos recommended by KZbin might be irritated. There is a youtube algorithm which stops recommending same pattern videos when you started disliking. So dislikes in youtube not always based on content 😀

Awesome recipe sir. Yummy Garlic chutney 👌👌 We make this sponge dosa in our house.we add appa soda to the batter it comes out very well with more holes and very soft dosa. We even toast only one side we don't turn the dosa.its so yummy and all time favourite in our house.

I respect him for being so humble for his profound knowledge and mentioned in the end, this is close to what his wife prepares, but not similar though! On the contrary every man likes his wife's preparation and Chef Venkatesh Bhat is no exception. I am not alone!! :)

In Bangalore,we call it as *SET DOSA*, but it will be as you said, it also looks like Spongy & fluffy with full of holes.. Set Dosa Should be exactly like a Spong
