First of all, why Akash Chopra is highlighting overseas stats when BGT is being played in India and previous tour was in Bangladesh? Actually I have completely different opinion on this topic which differ from aakash chopra as well as Venkatesh Prasad Kl Rahul as always a trending topic now I personally feel he is not bad a player especially in odi and tests and people over criticise him at times The whole scenario is Rahul's form in last 12-13 innings is miserable Having said that his overseas test form is superb scoring hundreds in England, South Africa and Australia is not Easy especially as an opener But the whole point is just recently he is miserably struggling against spin and at the similar time The person sitting out I.e. Shubhman Gill is in red hot form 🥵 in each format and he has recently scored a Hundred in Bangladesh Considering all this scenarios which has came at same time I personally feel u should play with Shubhman currently and even if he is not able to capitalize on the opportunity then you should go back to Rahul Rahul can easily play domestic cricket and come back in the side or eitherways you can play Gill/Agarwal in subcontinent and Rahul in Overseas Tests since his overseas numbers are pretty descent
