Yes in the new Spider-Man venom gets pulled due to strange and peter opening the multiverse- this allowed for villains that knew peters identity to enter. A version of the venom symbiose knew Tobeys version of Spider-Man- so this flood of knowledge from other universes could be how he knows peter. and gets transported

I think its pretty self-explanatory. What just happened is that Tom Holland and Dr. strange just opened up the multiverse. Being as Venom is a symbiote, he was able to simply pass through to the next universe. Venom now sees spiderman as a threat and will probably show up in the post end credit scene in no way home. Eventually becoming allies with spiderman or arch enemies.

This makes me wish two things in No Way Home... They confirmed that Venom was supposed to be in the movie more. We were supposed to see him on his way to New York. Even seeing him traveling in the Lincoln Tunnel. When he arrives at Liberty Island, he was supposed to heal Tobey's stab wound because he remembers him in his hive mind memories. I wish they kept that because it just feels useless to still have Tobey being stabbed without being healed. Plus, this would make Andrew see an alien for the first time since he said he wanted to fight one and he would think to himself he better not bond to the symbiote if one exists in his universe (which can be a reference to TASM 3 since it was supposed to reveal it's in Oscorp with the Sinister Six tech). I guess the symbiote would be left on the island and so it would have to wait until someone is nearby for it to latch itself onto and make its way back to Tom's Peter to bond to. The other thing I wish we got to see is when the other characters were pulled into the MCU. How they reacted when it happened. I'm sure the Goblin was pulled immediately after he took Tobey's Peter from the bridge. He started fighting him in that ground area after he jumped off the glider. So it has to be just before that and after he threw that pumpkin bomb I think. As for Doc Ock, we know it's right when he grabbed Tobey's throat. Since Venom and Eddie arrived in the MCU's version of this hotel, that means Doc Ock would arrive in the MCU version of the river in New York he was at. Just imagine him wondering not only why did it shift from night to day, but that he sees his machine and Peter disappear right in front of him. And since Eddie was pulled to the MCU because of him being attached to Venom, that causes an error that Tobey's Peter didn't come with Doc Ock. I mean, a modern version of him came here, but I mean since Ock was gripping his throat, you know. And Sandman would have to come through sometime shortly after Spider-Man 3 since the footage they use of him is from that movie when he's still young since Thomas Harden Church has aged over time. And for Lizard, they paid attention to detail by showing some of the fingers he's missing on one of his hands that were broken off due to when it got frozen during the climax in TASM. So it would have to be right after that and before he grabs Andrew's Peter on the tower trying to stop the launch. And for Electro, we know it was just before he died during the overload. I'm sure he would think at first that the overload somehow caused him to do this thing at first, but then he would realize he's wrong when he meets Tom. I presume that Andrew was probably on a rooftop when he was brought in since he was in his suit. Or maybe he was in the middle of web swinging. I've seen a fan made video somewhere of him falling when he's brought him. And as for Tobey since he was in regular clothes, he was probably just walking along in the city when he randomly got pulled in. Or imagine if he were on a date with Mary Jane and he disappears right in front of her.

This post credit scene got wasted. There was so much hype for Venom to be in No Way Home and then he never got involved whatsoever, instead he and Eddie decided it would be a good idea to drink through the entire movie. It's just really disappointing.

What I think happened is that 2019 Venom accessed Spider-Man 3 Venoms memories, and then became aware of Peter Parker being Spider man as well as developing a hatred for Spider-Man, we know he can do that since he just said the hive mind works across universes, this makes more sense when you consider that Strange’s spell only brought those who knew Peter Parker is Spider Man, and 2019 Venom accessing Spider-Man 3 Venoms memories makes 2019 Venom meet those requirements, and since he’s linked with Eddie, he got summoned as well

All i'm saying is that i dont understand why venom knew who peter was in that tv (post cred scene) when the only time venom actually met spider man was in spiderman 3, WHICH was not tom spiderman but tobey spiderman. NO WAY HOME SPOILERS!!! In no way home it seems that the people from other universes are teleported into spiderman's universe from the moment they learned that spiderman was peter parker. So as soon as they learn who spiderman is, from their perspective they get teleported into the other universe. When they are in the hotel room, Venom says he has "knowledge across universes" whatever that means. Venom is going to give Eddie a taste of his knowledge and starts "uploading" some of his knowledge into Eddie's head. Venom (who has plenty of confrontations with spiderman in other universes) knows who peter parker is. Evidently, some of the information that venom gave Eddie (or uploaded into Eddie) was that Peter Parker is Spiderman. Thus Eddie gets teleported into the other universe, which is consistent with the others.

Venom was about to show eddie his knowledge that they have across universes before he got teleported and see how venom takes over as soon as he hears peter parker on TV since symbiotes have a hive mind and a venom from tobey universe bonded with spiderman he as access to that knowledge.. also strange spell sends them all back, venom purposely leaves part of himself there. That small part wasnt affected by strange's spell because it was too small to have access to memories but once the symbiote will become big enough it can access all these memories so I guess we have seperate venom in MCU
