Haha great man, thanks for this Eartheater entry, beautiful composition! Voice morphing was a nice touch. You really ve an ear combining 2 fitting songs into one.

Wow... Thanks for the introduction to Eartheater, by way of one of my favorite artists of all time, Björk. As always, excellent work. Sometimes I wish there was a bit more back-and-forth mixing. Often your tracks are Vocals from Song A over Music from Song B, and I think your mixes would become even more interesting and engaging with a little of both aspects from both tracks. Just my opinion, tho, and even without that, these are good mixes you make. Thank you for sharing them 🙂

Thanks for the thoughtful words. I am fairly committed to the separation of vocal and instrumental within mashups except when the other randomly bleeds through while processing the stems. I’m most interested in hearing each element in a new, unexpected way or teasing out details you can’t hear on the original. I mostly let the songs guide my process so maybe there will be something more mixed up in the future.

@@buttmidler Mm, interesting. Well, then please disregard the above suggestion as moot: you've obviously had great success in making very enjoyable music (and with some excellent sources, I must say), so it doesn't seem to be broke 🙂 Cheers! 🍻

I process stems using VirtualDJ and I edit the tracks in GarageBand. Someday, I’d like to give Ableton another go so I can utilize more complex effects and manipulations.

@@mattsephtonI’ll have to learn how to do that but I’ll give it a shot. Any song in particular you’d like to see BTS?
