Yeah their market isn't strong here in the US as it is elsewhere. It was never really strong here to begin with, except for the early 80s when they inspired most of the thrash bands. They've always been a band known for their partying and their brutal honesty. Though lineups have changed, the core of Venom has never shifted, still a band true to themselves

@@burningthefields Abaddon stopped, but for Mantas is still with "Venom Inc". Saw them with Abbadon. Tony Dolan plays the bass and does the vocals. I actually much prefer Venom Inc. live nowadays compared to Venom.

Mantas now has a band called M-pire of evil and Abaddon I'm not so sure. Mantas' band was supposed to play around here in Pennsylvania with Raven and Sinister Realm on the 21'st of October but he had trouble with his visa so they cancelled.

I checked it out-It was nothing to write home about, the singer sucks the music sounded run in the mill generic average, below average production Cronos knows that in order to survive in the music biz, you still have to follow rules-don't shit or piss off fellow musicians, cause they can give you a bad rap Really that is a rule for basic human existance that is unviversal. The problem with people who can't UNDERSTAND that BM didn't have to sound like Pure Holocaust or De Mysteriis to be BM , back in 1981, is big as freakin Moby Dick(head). Of course that, chronologically speaking, they were aligned with nwobhm, but they were more eager in freakin destroy it rather than join the Leppard/Tygers baycityrolling shite! I, as an 18-yr old then, perceived and absorbed the Black Metal present on the 1st 3 albums. It's Black Metal from the years between 1981 and 84, to put it down to present-day IQ levels. I don't mind if ''they'' call it ProtoBM, or Black Heavy Metal, or HeavyBlackMetal, or any other kitchensink-drama excuse they may find to glorify Euronymous (or Quorthon, for that matter). Even Razorfist, who's still a young guy, can agree - Venom did it 1st, DTFWI!
