I actually quite like the writing of Peter and the symbiote here. Their relationship has always been fun to explore. Before all the retcons, 'Hunger' was one of my favorite Venom stories.

This is so good 🙌🏽 black suit spider will always be my favorite suit but I never thought they’d actually fix the relationship between Peter and venom, and they are handling it so well. Actually touching up on conversations that have been long overdue. Especially after finding out Peter was originally supposed to be the king in black but rejected it, there is so much potential here for spidey to finally get a damn upgrade

I wish Marvel would bring in a writer that understands what makes Peter a true hero and Peter finds a way to come to an understanding with the symbiote, make it understand why sometimes he has to suffer so the universe can be saved, maybe because Venom has experienced more of the heroic and good aspects of humanity, Venom and Peter can talk some sense into each other and can become greater heroes and people together, very wishful thinking/me wanting to see some version of my Spider-Sona's story in official media, but that would be a neat twist that doesn't feel out of character for Peter.

well one thing is for sure while Venom War lasts: Venom is safer with Peter because Eddie, Dylan and Meridius are literally torn between them, the only human host who doesn't want to use him as a weapon or kill him is Peter so I think we'll have Symbiote Spider-Man again for a long time
