We use the 95" on sports fields because of how it cuts and stripes. We have the contour deck, rough deck, 72" deck, blower, sweeper. These machines are the best!

Nice. If I cut grass as part of our services, we'd have one of these! I have a 72" with 6" offset and am looking to add the Contour Mower just to handle our very hilly property here at home. I'd love to have hydraulic tilt on the Tough Cut!

My lawn is pretty bumpy in spots and it did great. I honestly did not think it would have cut some areas in my lawn before I tried it. It did a amazing job. It will definitely cut time off mowing. I was really impressed.

Excellent! Do you have an estimate on how many acres per hour you mowed? I’d love to get one! Almost 2’ wider than my 72”!

I wish I could give you a good estimate on time, But stopping and setting up the camera all the time there is no way to really tell. I did notice a pretty big difference in time from when I normally mow. I would say I could cut anywhere from 20 to 30 minutes off my mowing. That does not seem like a lot, But it really is.

You never know. They keep coming out with new stuff all the time. Part of me wishes they would come out with some of the options, But my wallet wishes the would not. There are so many accessories and attachments on my list already.

The small windrow was a little disappointing.. Be interesting to see how the diesel handles higher grass down to 3.5"

I am not sure why it was doing that. It seemed to only do it in the front lawn. It did disappear by the next morning. There may have been something caught up in the rubber flap where it discharges, Not sure. I was still really happy with the cut quality.

@@golfy808 Its not a trim only mower. I was cutting at 3 inches and it did really well. I had not fetelized yet so the grass looked bad, But it made it look amazing. If the grass was really tall It would be like any other deck just slow up a bit. I think the rear discharge helps out because you are not throwing all the grass out one side. I think it takes less power throwing it all behind. I loved this deck. I will more than likely have one of these someday.

Rear discharge decks put it out the back. 2 blades drop the grass in the same place. It is not mowing it and blowing it out. With a rear discharge one cannot let the grass get too tall and mow too much off as it will leave that small windrow or even a big one.

I do not see why not. Ventrac attachments will hook up to a Steiner.

The 95 definitely got the job done a lot faster. The cut quality of the MS720 is hard to beat, But the wide area mower really impressed me. The only thing I noticed is with the wide area mower left 1 tiny windrow. I really was not expecting the 95 to have the cut quality that it did. I was really impressed on how quiet it was compared to a side discharge deck, and how it did not take much power to run it. The diesel had no problem at all handling it. If I would have tried one out before I purchased my Ventrac I would have got one. I may down the road pick up if I find a used one.

@@dlmp70 Honestly cut quality I would say would be a tie. The 95 did a beautiful job of cut as my MS deck does. The only difference would be on what you were using it for. If you have really uneven ground then the MS deck would give you a better cut. Not that the 95 would look bad, But the 72 would be better. I think in really tall grass the 72 may do better. I wish I would have been able to use it for 3 or more mowing to really be able to tell you more. I took it over some pretty uneven spots and was very impressed. I did like the rear discharge on the 95. If you are looking for the best possible cut quality than the MS may be the best bet, But with that being said the 95 does a excellent job as well.

I really like the fact that the rear discharge frees you from having to worry about spraying clippings into flowerbeds, back porch, pond, etc. And the improved timing in getting the job done is a big plus. And now that you say the cut quality may even be a tie with the MS720 makes the 95 an extremely attractive option. How wide does your trailer have to be ID for the mower to fit?

Well a deckover trailer is ideal, But I hauled it on my equipment trailer. My equipment trailer has a width of around 85 inches between the fenders so it had to ride out back on the other side of the fenders. It takes up some room on a trailer, But it can take a lot of time off mowing.
