THIS IS THE MOST WONDERFUL AND AMAZING TRAVEL DOCUMENTARY I HAVE EVER SEEN!. THANK YOU. - I watch all your Venture Boats trips (Aleutians, Alaska, British Columbia, Europe, Ireland, England, California, Idaho, New York). All videos are properly edited and perfectly presented. All landscapes, scenes, nature, blue sky, grey sky, deep blue sea make me feel so good. It is very soothing and entertaining. Whenever I am stressed out in my life, I always go to watch your sailing videos and it comfort me a lot. - I enjoy watching all your videos (on my 72" flat screen TV - SONY) all time, every weekend from my home in Los Angeles. Even though I am not fortunate like you to circumnavigate the globe and travel on own boat, your sea journey and wonderful voyage videos have brought many delights and good feeling to me. We all ordinary people are grateful to you (Gratitude) for your generous and wonderful presentations. Thank you.

A wonderful island, so insignificant to so many folk in Canada, USA, all of North and South America and the rest of the world, but oh, such a treasure and filled with such intrigue, such majesty, such interesting climates and sea and freshwater merges. And, such great photography, every second of this 38 minute video. And you deliver such poetry about this trip.

Up until this past summer, I used quite large and expensive Sony video cameras. This summer I switched to a Panasonic GH3 SLR camera which is much smaller, lighter and more discreet. also much cheaoer even after buying lenses. I had quite a learning curve making the change but the results are great. I then had problems dealing with the camera files in my editing system so I bit the bullet and switched to Final Cut Pro 10 which meant upgrading the computer - another steep learning curve. This video is the first from this new combination.

I'm crying right now. This is perfectly reminiscent of what my late wife and I did during our frequent visits to the Broughton islands. You have captured the ambiance perfectly. We had the luxury of modern navigation when it was brand new, so there was very little traffic, and we took our 42 ft sailboat into uncharted waters, and enjoyed the experience of exploring in the tender, places that travelers didn't bother. Thank you, Timmy

I have been through the inside passage in a fishing boat some 21 years ago, brings back wonderful memories, cheers and thanks a million for the pictures. I had a film camera and was not to capture more than a precious few. From Gig Harbor WA to Icy Bay AK I went by seine boat. It was part amazement, terror and wonder. I loved to see the humpback whales I got sprayed by a whale sounding 10 feet from me on the skiff. Some of the best memories of my 60 year old life.

Tony...the poetic skills of your ancestors are here for all to enjoy. What a wonderful film. Venture looks superb as she calmly provides a haven from the fog and tides of those awe inspiring bodies of water. For myself, I have to say that it is my deeply held dream to explore that very coastline in a trawler yacht...following the Gray whales as they migrate North to Alaska...for me, that coast line is a magnet, it is the stuff of my very deepest desires...that coastline and the Caribbean, and Bermuda hold me in a mesmeric gaze. I desire to do what you have done with all my heart...I salute you and your incredible achievements....

I should send you a small token of my appreciation for sharing this fascinating video. One thing I have to mention though, I was expecting to see swarms of salmon and varities of trouts in the transparent streams you navigated through. I was surprised to see none. Without these fish these islands couldn't hold my interest for long. You did a great job, TY.

Tony--appreciate as always your cinematic artistry and understand the learning curve issues of upgrades and improvements. But as I once heard a famous cinematographer say at a seminar at the Director's Guild about "new technology" and digital cinema, "These are the tools, but THIS is the craft--you NEED the tools to DO the craft, but never confuse the two." Happily, no matter what system you're using, your wonderful eye and choices and style come through because they are your vision, not the camera's. Thanks for taking us all along on your voyages! (and may I say to those who have not read your book, they're missing the "bigger picture" of the Fleming that explored new vistas long before he could do it IN a Fleming, too!)
