Just gotta say I recognize and appreciate the enormous effort you put into filming...the many times you put down your camera to capture an angle than go back to retrieve it and than do it all over again. Shish....nice job!

It is cool how much stop, plant the camera, get it going, do your drive by, back track to it there is. THEN when ever these people find time, to EDIT all the in between shots. I have done some recordings myself but do not enjoy the downtime of editing. lol

John Baylaya - It’s ok, Chris doesn’t cook either - he assembles or heats up processed food 👏🏻 And caves aren’t that dangerous - you can only break an ankle, get some bruises, slip, get a concussion and never be heard from again, or otherwise be bitten or eaten by some critter. No biggie 👍🏼

After watching your video, I came across a blog called The Discover Blog. They had a story about great small tows to visit, you mentioned about traveling to New England and into Canada. They mentioned one in Maine that you may want to consider. Lubec, Maine Lubec, Maine Developed on the back of the demand from the agricultural and fishing industries, Lubec is a small, coastal town that sits on the very most easterly point of the United States. A town that prides itself on not having any fast food restaurants, shopping malls, or- interestingly- stop lights, Lubec is a quaint, tight-knit town that’s perfectly suited to travelers who prefer to skip the crowds and instead spend time with authentic, welcoming locals. Extra brownie points for the fact that the town is also a pleasantly affordable place to stay. Stroll along the coastline to the charming red and white striped West Quoddy Lighthouse and the surrounding state park or head to Cobscook Bay and soak in the scenery. If you’re there in the summer, make sure to check out the local art fairs.

Awesome. I spent time in the Dragoons recently at Cochise Stronghold, it's nice to see that other range, especially in that weather. The whole area played significantly in the Indian Wars of Arizona, some interesting history took place there. And being close to the border was taken advantage of by the Apache multiple times during the process of making peace (they would raid into Mexico, and Mexico would pressure the US to stop it), ultimately forcing their removal to the San Carlos reservation, which is to the North of that area. Great video as usual.

Hi Chris, I'm curious whether you considered crossing into Sonora while you were as close to the border as Organ Pipe NM and Bisbee (or SW Texas in a later episode). There is a 20km+ hassle-free zone where you don't need a temporary import permit, and your US car insurance might cover you too. You most likely have your passport with you after having been to Canada, so I was wondering if there were any other considerations keeping you from venturing across the southern border. Thanks and all best!

Enjoying the ride! That's some fantastic scenery regardless of season or weather! Wondering if you found the cause of the hissing noise? If it was just the one time, maybe it was a leak in your air con system. Does the compressor engage with AC on? If not, you might've lost your refrigerant charge.

When I decided I wanted a wrangler I found the used ones so pricey that I ended up buying new. Having the warranties was a real comfort. I have never looked back. The biggest surprise was just how capable a stock Jeep is. As a street car it is chunky and uncomfortable and I would not recommend it to anyone. But the confidence to start down any two-track you see it why you own one.
@nowayjose6195
@nowayjose6195 5 жыл бұрын
IMO It'd have to be pretty heavily upgraded with appropriate mods for that price. Maybe if it's a peach of a Rubicon. Appropriate lift if any, re-gearing for bigger tires, etc.. Join a group like wranglerforum.com and ask about Jeeps you see and are interested in. Really helpful and knowledgeable folks there. Good luck! Post a photo of what you eventually choose.

Hi Chris, This late winter weather has been a lot more moist than normal, but I guess we need the water, eh? I wonder if you found a solution for your sway bar release motor problem. If not, have you considered going with the Teraflex Dual Flex Swaybar for a replacement? It would be a good match for your jeep, because in the "Street" setting it is more stiff than your stock sway bar, so it will keep your truck more level and stable on turns and in windy weather. In the "Trail" setting the sway bar is disconnected (just what you need for off road).
