I found this video as I'm pondering a Gladiator at some point down the road. You've hooked me into following your adventure. I watched a few, then went back to the beginning and have been binge watching all of them for the last few weeks. I finally caught up to this week's video (June 28, '19) and now have to wait for the next chapter to unfold. I'm living your adventures vicariously, and dreaming of future adventures of my own. Well done and getting better Chris!

Just a tip someone told me Chris is to buy a pack of stickers ( red or yellow dots will be fine ) Then whilst on your travels when you keep seeing something in your Jeep that you don't use Ie : the shower tent. You put a sticker on it! Once a item reaches 3 stickers it comes out !! Just an idea I was given but you'll be suprised how well it works. Safe travels your doing a great job :)

I can't believe you don't carry your mountain bike with you. I travel all over the western states boondocking and ride mine everywhere. You can see so much more of the areas, is great exercise and I wouldn't think of camping without it. They have inexpensive lightweight racks now that slide into your hitch...you wouldn't even notice it was there. Reconsider taking it...you won't regret it.

Chris , awesome man , I just got done watching V1E1 til this video over the past week and a half or so . First time commenting . The beauty you see in your surroundings really comes through . The oddest one out of all the videos I have seen so far was the shot of the basketball in the grass with the basket out of focus in the background , not odd really , but such a beautiful shot of something so simple . All of your photography is amazing . You choose your shots well . The time you take to set up a shot and walk into or out of FOV or driving , just the sheer amount of time taken , very well done , Thank You . From the time you gave up your apartment after being on the road for 5 months , all I can say is WOW , it takes guts and the freelance work you do , your Patrons are awesome for helping to support you through your journey , thanks for sharing it with us . Hope to see you pass through Pigeon Forge , TN August 23rd & 24th for the Great Smoky Mountain Jeep Invasion , would love to shake your hand or just drop a note on your windshield . Thanks again for the great videos , now time to watch the very first ones that have no V series from 2 years ago .

Wrightsville PA, that’s just a stones throw from where I grew up in York, haven’t been back there for many years... Chris I wonder about your renting a storage facility, wondering if you could purchase a garden storage shed place it at your parents home and your done, a one time expense. My wife and I are working towards going full time RV (with a Jeep in tow), we’re contemplating solutions for seasonal or little used items ourselves... It’s good that you’re maintained a relationship with your former wife, I’m sure it helps Cole a lot... Keep doing exactly what your doing, yours is my favorite KZbin channel... Stay safe

Chris, check out the Rough Country, hybrid stubby winch plate with fog lamps. A minimalist front bumper that mounts the winch low so it doesn't block your radiator. And allows you to still have fog lights. I love mine. And it's only, $230.

Glad you didn’t trade ur Jeep off, I’ve got a friend with a Gladiator and I’ve driven it off road, it’s nice but his was 55K and it’s longer , turns sharp but still it is long, for what you do I would rather have ur, the Gladiator is great for a Jeep and a Truck but Jeeping needs to be done in what you’ve got. Take that 60k buy a house with a garage, rent the house for the price of the house payment and store ur stuff in ur garage, great vid and again I’m proud you kept ur rig.

Chris, you're experience with Pronghorn has been a lot different than mine. I suggest anyone wanting to purchase any Pronghorn gear buy only from a retail outlet and only if it's in stock. (no back order). I'm glad to see you re-install the original bumper.

Well done on keeping the CB (though I'm pretty sure the antenna is supposed to have a whip attached ;o) ) God forbid it ever happens, but should you ever get caught up in some form of natural disaster scenario, you'll be glad you did as the mobile phone service usually get's overloaded in a heart beat closely followed by the land line services and the internet services. Suddenly all you're left with to get any information or communication are ham and CB services. It's definitely one of those things that you may seldom use but boy, when you need it, you REALLY wish you had it. Another great vid, thanks for sharing. Stay safe and be lucky :o) ... ODJ

You'd be better served with a Ham radio, more options plus if you get one that will run APRS you can track yourself without needing IPAD apps and or send short messages without buying into a serice. You could in theory scale down even more with a good Ham radio that has GPS, APRS, messaging at the same time have many more frequency options to work with.

Glad you are getting to spend some time with Cole. Thought you were going to buy a new Jeep. How many miles are on the old one now? The dog going by in your video was cool you couldn't have planed that if you had wanted to. I have a 2014 Jeep and hope to put a wench on it also. Keep the Skottle and take a cooking class, more smiles per meal that way. And ditch the shower shelter, buy a Kelty Noah's Tarp to hang off the tailgate hatch for shower emergencies, it packs much much smaller.

I Agree Chris! Gladiator sans bed would be the perfect platform for a mobile living quarter. A 2 door might allow more camper space and save GVW. Something roomier without losing too much off-road capability. The Gladiator with a camper (if someone makes one) is going to be close to the cost of a 4wd Van which is not be as capable off road but a heck of a lot roomier, comfortable in all weather and may possibly get better mileage and have lower maintenance requirements? But...after all this time in your cool orange JEEP, would you have the same followers if you were out there in a luxury Sprinter? As always, Thanks for taking us along on your journey.
