Everytime I hear the word canva anywhere in association with templates. 😡 🤯 I am a graphic designer and this really really annoys me. 😠 using Canva does not make you a designer, it doesn’t have the skill the set designer has. .Fair enough if people use the program for a social media post or a KZbin thumbnail, it is a tool that is all. Imagine if we employed someone that just used AI to write our copy, it wouldn’t be beautifully written it would be a starting point.

AI is already writing Hollywood scripts and books. I get your perspective, but Canva is the goat right now. Some people are really good at using it and can make some beautiful work on there. Just like how graphic designers use photoshop etc. I wouldn't say someone isn't a graphic designer because they choose a different tool. Just like I wouldn't say someone isn't a artist because they don't use expensive oils and paints.

I have 15+ years in graphic design. My suggestion to you is instead of getting angry/annoyed when someone mentions it, get in where you fit in because canva’s not going anywhere…especially if you’re looking to make more money. Use your expertise to create professionally designed templates in canva. You could sell them for more because of that. Canva gives graphic designers a way to make digital products that the every day person can use/consume. So it’s a win-win.

Ouch - you’re mistaken. I think you need to spend more time with Canva it will literally skyrocket your production as a professional graphic designer. I don’t hire a graphic designer that doesn’t use Canva. And I’m not the only business owner that feels that way.

I love Canva it’s really simple for me to use. If a template I purchase uses Canva to edit I’m all in. I think if a designer wants to market the everyday person who doesn’t know how to use Photoshop or any other designer software Canva is a very good tool to use. Since it integrates with social media seamlessly people like can just use it plus I can use the Canva app and edit on my cell. I highly encourage you to try it and then judge it. You can always find free information on the internet but the info people sell isn’t the same info that’s free online. Or sometimes it’s better laid out, with more info and also comes with coaching etc. there’s many reasons :)

@@kuchikibyakuya7697 for me it's around 5% for something like a $59 ebook. It's going to depend on a lot of factors though like: how warm is your audience, how big is your audience, how good is your offer, etc.
