Venty Software Update Coming to FIX ERROR 04

According to a recent RMA response, Storz & Bickel is planning a software update for the Venty that will fix many of the ERR04 problems people are having

Hi price or not, I hate dealing with issues and having to send things back. Both My Mighty & Mighty+ has given me error codes but resetting generally works. My Venty replacement cracked after a light drop and gave me an error code E04 that would not clear on reset. I had to send it back and they gave me a new. The new one did it once and I reset and now it's working fine. But I understand how you feel. Give them some time to work out the bugs. Because I really love this device I don't even use the Mighty anymore

Surprised that they launched without a lot more beta-testing. My original Mighty is getting a bit long in the tooth (five years of daily use and it hasn't put a foot wrong once) and I've been looking for a new vape, so the Venty was an obvious move but all the noise about this ER04 has put me right off. Hopefully they'll get it resolved and I can throw another huge wedge of cash at S&B.

With the issues there having I'm going to pass on the Venty for now until they get these issues fixed. Theres alot of great herb vapes on the market that are right up there with the Venty.

I'm one of the lucky ones who's Venty has been going strong, but I'm glad to hear there's finally going to be a permanent solution to this. Then maybe after they fix this they can push an update to get rid of that pesky boost mode timer! I just run at 210 all day now cause I got tired of re-boosting.

The boost timer gets me too. Sometimes I'm cool with it, because it *kinda* saves my bowl and makes it last longer... but when I go to hit it and it's cooled back to 380 i get annoyed.

I think the update just happened.... I was trying to get my unit to vape after error 4. Connect to phone and there was a 2 part update.. Seems to fix my unit ....

Ohh ok, NICE! Thanks man, for this information. The ONLY Error code I've encountered with my Venty so far is when.......I take a looong slow/smooth draw. After about a 10 or 12 second steady draw....it will ERROR out; The error disappears after 2 or 3 seconds, and I am back to vaping just fine....... I WANNA SAY the ERROR CODE it gives me when it does that is: E 04

I think overall the Arizer has a better flavor, it's just that the Solo 2 and Air are too slow to extract The solo 3 is so much faster now!

just had the E04 on a venty purchased on 25/7. So its less than a month old and I was told when i bought it that it was one of the ones that has had the "update". I'll be wanting a refund as im a medical user and can't live a day without cannabis never mind the 2 weeks i'll be without it having to ship it to germany from the UK. My mighty plus also broke after 18 months and they refused to fix it underwaranty. I think since acquiring the company, canopy growth are running the company into the ground. I'll never buy one of their products again!

You can! It's not perfect for the job, but it will work. You can add small amounts to a bowl of flower, or you can put the hash in a capsule and use it that way. If it's gooey, I recommend folding an extra bowl screen over it like a little taco shell so the liquid has something to wick onto. When I was in Germany I crammed a filled a whole capsule with morrocan hash and vaped on it for like 45 minutes straight.

Blz amigo, eu estou no Brasil tbm e tenho um Venty. O meu já deu esse erro também e só consegui consertar o problema após dar um hard reset nele. Sabe como fazer isso? Segura o botão de ligar/desligar por uns 10-15 segundos até aparecer uma mensagem de reset na tela, vai piscar tudo e dar um reboot. Após isso não experimentei mais esse Error4..... Tenta aí e vê se ajuda....

My two cents; buy caged plates and as good a press as you can afford. At least 15 ton for flower, less for hash

Wish i could explain with a picture, but really with a decent press and caged plates it is very simple to just bring the ram down on the top of the cage. For flower more pressure is needed than for hash, I use my 15t press at 12t so as not to break it.. Hash you need less than a ton really but the commercial ready made ones I've seen tend to be 8t. Hope that helps man 😊

Mine has given error 4 a couple of times and ruined a bowl but it seemed to reset after a short time and hasn't done it again since... all I could put it down to was me leaving it turned on in my pocket in a taxi by accident ... once.... I really hope this update fixes it. For such an expensive device this sucks balls 😢

hope firmware is out soon, I have two venty, one for myself one for my wife, mine went e04 at 45 hours of use hers e04 @ 35 hours, one got replaced last month the other got the email today both were owned for under 2 months

Update STORZ sent me a fix through the app and my Venty is still not working. I am receiving ok service but I got fed up and sent a nasty email and they finally sending me a return slip. Keeping my fingers crossed they send me one that works I don’t even want a new one I just want one that works. That is my everyday. I carry that more than my cell phone. I will keep you up to date cheers

Well a month later still no slip i had to send it in through the mail to some place in California at my expense! I asked by email to speak to supervisor or manager, never happened didn’t speak to anyone. I just said fuck it and paid for it. So to this date it should be with storz and Bickel and I still have not heard anything besides they received my Venty with only 5 hours on it! Keep you posted
