​@@zabbas9371​BPA/PVC, Basically everything synthetic has it in it. Lowers test levels and increases cancer risk. If you use wraps you protect your skin. I suggest not nibbling on it though. About as cancer causing and test reducing as eating soy protein.

@@davidh5429 I refuse to eat soy, and luckily i always wear wraps. I didn't think that BPA or PVC making contact with skin increases cancer risk, thought it was only a threat through ingestion? Thanks for letting me know

Thanks for sharing brotha, 8 oz huh? My lightest pair of gloves I believe are 10 oz, aside from my bag mitts. Is there a reason why you went with 8 oz?

@@SENSEIJASON I just like the smaller ones. No particular reason. Its enough cushion for me doing the bag and mitts. Im not sparring or anything yet. If i was, i would probably train with whatever size i would be sparring with. I just dabble in my home gym with a couple friends

@B-Killin right on bro, try getting a pair of 16oz gloves when you up to it. Always handy to have in your glove rotation.

8oz is impressive, i use 10-12oz gloves regularly. I hope im able to use 8oz gloves soon when my striking is in better condition.

​@@SENSEIJASONThey updated the Elite I think. I had the 2020 elite and they where great, Thai style cushioning and great feeling. Now days ago I bought two new sets directly from venum and after 7 rounds, my thumb joints been hurting for days now. The stitching changed, causing pressure on the thumb muscles. They did improve the wrist support though. Slightly more flat/Mexican style.
