Leaning heavy on my S+ Regulus 🪄 I’ve already been experienced meeting people associated with past relationships, revisiting and recognizing past relational behaviors, as well as repairing recent relationship “mistakes”. Helpful information, and if those incidents had been at the forefront of my mind I definitely wouldn't have phrased it that way. I remember the golf club incident, which one could chalk up to having a very bad day, but I either never knew of, or had totally forgotten, the assault on the sex worker. Not a sensible choice of words with that considered. The main reason he was included in the episode was to illustrate the example in tangent with Eric Clapton and the matter of being raised by a grandmother posing as a mother. In that narrow context, the question of whether or not he is a decent guy was not necessarily the point, I didn't need to put it out there in the first place. I don't have a very high opinion of Eric Clapton either, but both men have participated in art that I've loved.

My asc is 17° Leo, the last two days I've not had coffee while thinking about dropping it all together. I'm drinking some tea right now, realizing- yeah.... I think I'm done w/coffee. In 2015, I quit an 18 year smoking relationship (with vaping as my aid). I still vape, but thinking about dropping that this summer as well. I just don't want any chemicals to determine how I feel or how my day will go, or be an excuse to have a bad day... because I didn't have my xyz... congratulations on the ground you've paved for yourself this last year.... alcohol is a very physically dangerous chemical to stop. It takes a lot of fortitude not giving in to the physiological salve of alcohol while your body treks detoxification. It takes the most resolve. Stopping cigarettes is one of the greatest accomplishments of my life. It is nice to hear of the ground another person is making in breaking these generational chains. 💜

October 2021 my daughter was born when Venus crossed my POF & Vesta ♐7H, then while retrograde Jan 2022, the day Venus was at 11°♑(8H) where I have my natal Neptune-Saturn my father died in an accident. The accident was a very ironic reference back to an accident I had in summer of '98 when Venus (trine Neptune) crossed my Ascending, and the Nodes were conjunct my nodes (flipped). My first Venus retrograde Dec '89 was my first accident/injury ever and also Capricorn & also involved my dad. Capricorn is bones and bonds, right? Lol During the retrograde summer of '91, I was in my most horrible accident when a family dog got me in his jaws....maybe I'll look at all them one day, there's definitely a pattern 😅🥲

I am #metoo veteran (nodes were in Leo aqua). The most closure I can say is I believe #metoo indeed is not about gender (I was saying it then too) and not even about sexual assault (I began to say it but even I had no idea how prevalent and deep is the issue) but human trafficking. Or even more so - child trafficking and regressing ppl to child state to retraumatize them (which is done in therapy too systematically and if a person says no they have no assistance or healing). Gloomy, but Pluto is not at all done with being Saturn ruled or Capricorn ruled and it was a part of the cycle (personal relationship and the sociology of not only our bedrooms but freighting so , also children's )

First, this episode is blowing my mind. While listening at 2hrs 9min about Jack Nicholson and Eric Clapton I nearly had a car accident. My grandmother, who just happened to turn 91 Today, lived her first 8 or so years of life believing her mother was her sister and her grandmother her mother. I had to look up her chart immediately (even though I was driving, not recommended but I was compelled) and behold! The woman was born during a Venus retrograde! Unfortunately, I have no birth time which is a shame because I’d love to check the connection with her 4th house/IC. However, her Venus is very closely conjunct her Mercury, if that counts? Second, my Venus in Scorpio turned retrograde via secondary progression when I was 16. I discovered this evening that it stationed retrograde literally one day before I made my relationship with my ex-husband official. I only remember the date because I had a key chain with the date made at the mall a few months later. Our relationship lasted 16 years(!!) until a couple of months before my 32nd(!!) birthday. Astrology for the win. Again.

Fascinating. Virgo rising here. During the last Venus retrogrades and shadow periods I had the last of many tumultuous situations in a twenty year marriage. It began in the summer months and culminated in my ex husband’s arrest for violence on Sept 6, 2015 and a divorce started the following month! Illuminating. I’ve had a lot of peace after all that.

Libra rising here with a natal Venus rx in Gemini! Venus being my chart ruler only aspects Saturn (in my 7th) with a Square. Saturn is in turn opposite my natal Chiron also Rx. Such great clarity on Venus - I have been interested in Venus cycles for many years - and am only now starting to discern themes which weren't so clear in the past which are overlapping in some ways and like gold when you see - ie the transformation of philosophical/spiritual orientation began during a Venus virgo/leo retrograde in 1999 through the 11th/12th house, when my relationship to community altered and was tied up with the experience of 5th house themes and communication and personal appearance began changing. I have a 11th house Leo born few days after an Exterior Venus sun conjunction in Aries at 2 degrees Taurus on the 8th/9th cusp conjunct sun and Virgo rising. Anybody else dreading this upcoming Venus retrograde? The last one in Capricorn end of 2021 was a doozy for me. I’m a Libra sun with Venus rising in Scorpio. This one in Leo will square my ascendant and oppose my Saturn simultaneously. It’ll be conjunct my partners sun and Venus in Leo simultaneously, too. And I’m going through a Uranus conjunct DC transit, part of me is like, are we going to elope? (We just had a child) or break up? Huge waves and tests lately. I wonder if it’ll be the final blow. Prayers up for people who are also so heavily Venus led.

2:20:08 My father was born with Venus retrograde in the 4th house of Aquarius. When his progressed Venus stationed direct, he proposed to my mother and they got married a few months later. Also, I met my boyfriend during a Venus pre-shadow period in Gemini. Interestingly enough, the day we met, Venus was also conjunct my natal north node. I made so many mistakes growing up and I didn't always have the right support and guidance, So when the previous Venus retrograde in Capricorn happened It started it's retrograde close to my Natal MC 24 degrees Cap and my Natal Mars 23 degrees Cap, and with transit Pluto in the 10th right on there, I faced some really harsh and embarrassing truths about myself and my life and the direction of my career. Venus is my ascendant ruler. When it went retrograde in 2015 was the first time I shaved my head. It was a very big deal because I was massively subverting current societal gender roles at the time. I became known as the girl who shaved her head lol. It was a very pivotol moment for me in my teen hood in terms of embracing my individuality and it was also me asserting my autonomy in a household that was kind of religious. I have natal Mercury at 12° Leo in my 11th house, where venus will station direct. I've just started performing in a gig band as a singer. What a fascinating podcast and thank you for the great emphasis on Progressed charts as I discovered a chain of events that happened in a romantic relationship which started on Nov 15th 2020 where my Progressed Venus was in retro conjunct my Progressed Sun and Progressed Mercury all in 3H Aquarius,with a wide orb conjunction to my natal Venus (29d in Capricorn). A sudden breakup in the relationship occurred on 22nd Jan 2022 Venus was in retro in Capricorn conjunct my natal Mars. The interesting part was that on the 30th of November 2022 I received a call from one of my closest friend who announced that she is having a relationship with my ex partner.On that day My Progressed Venus was in Retro conjunct Progressed Mercury and Progressed Sun again in my 3rd house in Aquarius Conjunct my natal Venus.(wide orb). I would have loved to have a deeper understanding to the 3H in Aquarius in the story which repeat itself.(My natal details: 5th Dec 1965 04;00am Tel Aviv Israel).

8 years ago, during the last Venus retrograde in Leo in my 4th WSH my father was struggling with addiction, and my family dynamic was changing as my parents were going through a divorce. Now, my dad is a few years sober, and it’s my mom’s addiction that my siblings and I are confronting. Definitely a strong correlation there.

I was born w libra rising & natal venus retro in scorpio. The scorpio venus retrogrades of 2010 & 2018 mark the two lowest points of my life when it comes to my behavior while relating w other people (betrayal & obsession to give you a clue). The US Sibley chart is having venus retrograde in the 8th house (shared resources) in Placidus and 9th house in whole sign (shared beliefs). True, the Good Friday Agreement was signed 64 days after the direct station of Venus, out of range of even the greatest elongation about two weeks earlier. However, there is a lot of Venus retrograde found in the Irish struggle. Patrick Pearse read the Proclamation of the Irish Republic less than two hours after Venus reached its greatest elongation prior to the retrograde on April 24, 1916. Of the seven signatories, at least five and probably six were born during Red intervals, as were Eamon de Valera and Michael Collins, as well as Edward Carson and later Ian Paisley on the Union side.

I’ll start by saying the song I’ve given to Venus in Leo is Aristocrat by Poppy. Nick may like that since it’s a reference to the French Revolution, but I think the song is really about her crashing a Hollywood party and being repulsed by the excess. The west coast is on my sun line, 12th house.. right through Hollywood. if I became a dictator you’d probably see a hell unleashed on earth that no one thought was possible in those areas. Fyi: never vote for me. One on my major regrets is, in the early 2000’s, I sarcastically created a political platform stating “the quiet parts out loud”, my morals/ethics made me decide to not post the platform since it only takes one person to take it seriously. I missed out on a lot of money since it was very similar to The Hunger Games (my plan for California) and The Purge. I mean this in a good/positive way, episodes like this remind me that parts of astrology don’t interest me while it does compliment and fuel the parts that DO. I’ll just highlight the Clinton affair. The 1st part is, it was a different time where a persons personal life was private and only private; his job performance was what was being judged. Today, there’s probably more emphasis on private/personal lives being more important than performance, talent, and skill. The other link to a Venus retrograde is that high profile stories also shine light on broad social themes; the contract of marriage was also different which is why it was viewed differently which Patrick mentioned. By this, more people related to the problems in the Clinton marriage where marriage became more about 2 individuals than a Union of 2 into 1. Bill and Hilary were like most marriages of “together and separate”. Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt had a similar marriage. In more modern times, which is actually an odd strong point of having sun and moon opposite in the 12th/6th houses.. a similar mistake is being made where an overwhelming majority of US citizens feel the social, political, financial, legal systems are purposely crafted to exploit the public which is something that became a huge emphasis in the 2016 election. Currently, you’re seeing Trump actually regain popularity by this actually happening to him which is making him more relatable to voters. I’m actually preparing for the nightmare of another Trump presidency. I’m actually for RFK Jr primarily due to a long talk he gave on how his choice to run is due to noticing that younger generations lack a sense of purpose and direction which is something he’s never seen before as I haven’t either. Yet, his lawsuits which he won against big pharma and Monsanto are likely why he won’t get a chance to even actually run. Meaning, he’ll just be painted as a conspiracy theorist even though he highlights in a more positive way that people are falling down these conspiracy theory rabbit holes due to these feelings of being exploited by their own institutions. My point would be, I don’t see the point in politics and astrology as much as I used to. 😆 I’ve actually taken the view, since I stated a 6th house moon, you can’t write or solve a social issue with a bill or law, it’ll just create a different variant of the same problem. Venus will be retrograde on the ascendant in my solar return chart with a Taurus MC with Jupiter. I know parts of this next SR chart, I also know the last Venus retrograde in Leo was very very very interesting. Some topics may be showing up, like noticing from a Poppy video (fill the crown) that she looks exactly like a certain ex I’ve mentioned in comments where subjects related to that surfaced during that retrograde 8 years ago. Has nothing to do with poppy, obviously, but the songs have 12/6 house themes that a related. I’ll set the humor aside, how skinny puppy went to poppy is related to how skinny puppy influenced modern music even though they were an underground band, but also.. skinny puppy centers around a created character that represented pop culture as evil manifested on earth, Poppy is actually the same/similar concept and (if the birthdates are right) they’re both created by people with Venus in scorpio. Pop culture shadow horror themes. Another interesting topic linked to astrology and a recent astro podcast topic.. nirvana was heavily influenced by the Riot Girls (grrrl) movement. We really don’t fully know how much influence women have on society even today. If I recall, Crimea was involved in a revolt against the Ukrainian regime in a minor civil war and negotiations were held to stop the war but Ukraine continued to bomb the territory which is why Russia annexed it. It’s sort of like how the story of the nord pipeline broke and we suddenly started shooting down weather and hobby balloons, Russia Gate was probably inspired by fears of Russian retaliation over Ukrainian influence. Point: we’ll never truly know the entire social/political dynamics of what’s going on which can happen historically where we can’t be too certain of all the complexity of historical events. I’m still putting off analyzing that SR chart that’s coming up soon.. 😂 I’m keeping astrology at a distance lately, but my next SR looks very astrology heavy. The episode made me a tad more aware of the fact that I’d definitely need to be open to/appreciate working with others even in an astrology context since there are other valuable areas of astrology I couldn’t invest a lot of energy into.

Leo rising with Saturn and Venus conjunct. Last Venus Retrograde I come to heads with my stepson that thought his work is golden and he was pretty mouthy. Numerous yelling and the final straw instead of hitting him I punched the double pane window and luckily just needed stitches no other damage. I suggest lots of shadow work! I’m still a work in progress. My fiancé is now passed so I don’t speak to the other kids now so that won’t happen again I hope. 🤞 I’m a bit nervous my saturn and Venus are both 28 degrees and asc at 27 degrees. Libra Rising here. 2015 Venus Rx I ended my 4.5 year relationship, my sister in law was undergoing chemo so I was traveling a lot to see her and my family, work was very busy but in a good rhythm, I was very very lonely as I hadn’t made friends in the city I’d moved to the year prior, I was exercising diligently. Present day- I do feel similarly uncertain about my current partner and whether we’re actually aligned on our values and long term vision, my sister in law is going to get reconstruction surgery during Venus rx, I am trying to get back into shape, also desperately looking for a remote job. Moved to a new city in May to be with my current partner.

In 2017, I was in my 6th house annual profection. Venus was my Lord of Year. I have it there natally in Taurus together with my Jupiter. I suffered a brain injury during that retrograde, one day after it conjuncted my Sun in my 4th house for the second time. I also had a Saturn square Sun and Jupiter square Mars transits going on at that time, so yeah, bad health-related things had to happen, I guess.

The last two times Venus was retrograde in my 4th house (square Descendant) were amidst break ups with ex's. Venus rules my 6th (Libra) and 12th (Taurus) houses and the last break up in 2015 was centered around my health (chronic illness) and my dwindling ability to contribute to the relationship. I had to find myself a new place to live while he got to stay put which was really scary to me at the time having to deal with being home bound while also looking for a home. Luckily, I had Jupiter in my 4th house and found a place on my first try! I'm not sure how this one will go since I'm not currently in a relationship and there's no imminent threat of having to move from my home. Although Venus will be square my Descendant again I see my 7th house ruler (Jupiter) conjunct my South Node in the 12th house and Venus will be trine natal Chiron and, eventually my Moon as well, so I wonder if it's more of a focus on healing or self care. Maybe a focus on healing old wounds with females in my life.
