To dovetail on the comment left where you revealed the background to this ... Part of the reason why I had this hiatus period in most of the 2010s was that I felt like anything I did would be perceived as a fourth-rate version of my discography. There was also an artist who expressed so accurately my own mental state that I didn't see the point of making music. Actually, I had the boldness to tell this directly to the artist in question and, to his eternal credit, reassured me and never discouraged me. Eventually, I realised what you yourself said at the end of your background video: you can only make you. I say this here because listening to this, I am reminded me of where I was myself ten years ago or so. I have also come along in some considerable ways since then, creatively and personally. And finally, like the artist in question told me, there is room for our voices. Keep making awesome things =]

Album's fire Cameron, textures and movements are rock solid as is the conveying sentiment of the delivery of emotion, anxiety can be a major PITA and affects us all, I struggle with it daily, thankfully, music is a terrific platform to exorcise internal demons and mental anguish, gonna have to cop this in wav, big ups, sending some bits your way soon, as well!

From your introduction video, I expected something much more dissonant. An audio representation of torment and distress. But this is actually very pleasant to listen to. I think it's part of being an artist to want to be perfect, to want our work to be perfect, to be universally loved. I don't think it's going to happen, but in the interest of saving time, if 80-90% of the feedback is positive, the other 10% can be safely disregarded. If a student has a high gradepoint, they don't care what the flunkers think, it's not worth their time to consider it.

So last night I listened to it the second time, and oh wow, there’s so much I love about your album! I love its minimalism and the consistency of the whole, and yet how there’s so much detail on close listening. I love how nothing about it is obvious or predictable. And most of all, with those plucks, the phantom melodies, I love how often I have no idea what note you’re going to play next. That last thing takes it from “oh, this is very good” all the way to “I want to hear it again and again”. This is ambient perfection to me.
