I've been trying to listen for a chord progression and I've determined that there is a lovely, beautiful one there, in each track, comprised of layers of interacting pads and melodic parts made up of several elements. It is richly dense and complex, yet deceptively simple at the same time. But everything here is a necessary part of an overall composition. Every part plays a role and the transitions between them keeps the music moving forward, ever-changing, never resting, advancing toward resolution and always holds my attention. This is very close to what I want to do, except that I'd add some SWAM instruments (trumpet, sax, flute) made with a wind controller (but that's just me). This not only holds my ears in rapt attention, but it inspires me, as well, and that's what I always listen for in any music. No one, Cameron, will ever insult you by saying, "Dope beats, duuuuuude!" 😊

I took a deep hard listen myself after the initial one where I was just in awe. Simple rhythms morphing in and out of complexity. Bass lines that could rip flesh from bone and leave you wanting for more. I picked up certain sounds from the LABS library and subtle hints of Jean Michelle Jarres Wooloomooloo yet giving it Camerons own spice blend to the mix. This is going on my permanent playlist and Im proud to say it.

Wow man. I turned this on for background music, but this is too good to focus on anything else, especially the first listen. It'll take me a few listens to really appreciate everything you've done here. Sound design is fantastic, composition is phenomenal, and the soundscapes really glue it together and let the music breathe just enough before pushing forward into new territory. Mix is great as always. I'm almost done with the album and it hasn't lost my attention yet. You've got something pretty special here. Thanks for this.

The "Let's Make a Track" one was definitely the making of Santuary, I think the "Enter the Chill" one may have evolved into another track here but I'm not sure.

OH LORD! From the intro to the finale this is truly an incredible collection of remarkable compositions. Each track has its own special vibe and ambience. I particularly fell for Prism which has such wonderful movement and is so buoyant. And of course there is the splendid artistry of Somewhere the Light Falls which is pure joy for the ears and the soul.

Hello Cameron. I have only discovered your channel in the past week but I feel compelled to say a massive thank you. I am someone who has ambitions of being successful in the music industry doing my own thing as well, but for several reasons to do with making a family and looking after the people who made me, I have had to slow down this process for some time. that all changed very recently and in my research come across your videos which I have found to be full of sincere solid practical advice and I can tell that they come from a place of genuinely wanting to help others who have the same passion. and then I listened to this album. I have to say it is uncanny how you have lifted the soundscapes I make in my dreams and put them out here on KZbin. it reminds me in parts of all the progressive house and techno I have loved for years but doesn't tie its self to a specific beat pattern, and reminds me of an album I nearly wore through listening to when I was studying music a good few years ago (Morning sci fi by Hybrid) but without the breakbeats. I don't think I can express how grateful I am that you have inspired me to continue producing music again. and when I have something to the point of being done enough to release I hope you take a look at it and give me some feedback. thanks Stuart.
