I'm not sure it was a German song; obviously the title two words are, but I think it was a phrase everybody knew. I don't _think_ I've heard a German version.

A very bad arrangement of this beautiful song ! Compare this to the version with male chorus from the early fifties and you will hear why this one is bad.
