Rusty Bread Slicer - Restoration

CZ : Recept na podmáslový celozrnný chléb pro domácí pekárny :
340 ml podmáslí
2 lžíce bílého jogurtu
1 lžíce octa
2 lžíce oleje
1 lžička kmínu
2 lžičky soli
špetka hnědého cukru
10 g čerstvého droždí
200 g hladké mouky
100 g špaldové mouky
100 g žitné celozrnné mouky
100 g pšeničné celozrnné mouky
semínka dle chuti (sezamové, slunečnicové, lněné)
Věškeré ingredience musí mít pokojovou teplotu.
Do pekárny vložíte nejprve tekuté ingredience a droždí, necháte chvilinku vzejít poté přidáte sypké ingredience, nastavíte program pro podmáslový chléb a spustíte program. Jedna z výhod domácích pekáren : pekárna udělá práci za Vás :)

Recipe for buttermilk wholemeal bread for home bakeries:
0.09 gal of buttermilk
2 tablespoons of white yogurt
1 tablespoon vinegar
2 tablespoons of oil
1 teaspoon of cumin
2 teaspoons of salt
a pinch of brown sugar
0.353 oz fresh yeast
7.055 oz plain flour
3,527 oz spelled flour
3,527 oz rye wholemeal flour
3.527 oz wheat wholemeal flour

seeds to taste (sesame, sunflower, flax)
All ingredients must be at room temperature.
You put the liquid ingredients and yeast into the bakery first, let it rise for a while, then add the loose ingredients, set the buttermilk bread program and start the program. One of the advantages of home bakeries: a bakery will do the work for you :)

I really liked the video, but I've been wondering why you went to the trouble of cleaning the rust off the blade, even creating a part to do it, but then didn't sharpen the edge of the blade? I mean it's obviously sharp enough to cut bread, but the blade edge just doesn't look sharp. That said, it could have been the lighting or something highlighting the imperfections in the blade. Thank you for your hard work! I look forward to watching more. :)

I like your use of nickel plating where it can be applied. You are a very lucky man to have a beautiful wife who bakes as well as helps with restoring . I saw a very old commercial bread slicer once. It used something like saw blades and sliced a whole loaf at once, you could feed in a number of loaves and just keep going. It was old then, and that was at least 50 years ago, so now I imagine it's junked or maybe, who knows, somebody restored it.

My Mother had a similar machine, no clamp but a big suction cup underneath and a toothed blade...and the little "flapper tab" in the front, too... You bring back memories, thank you! :-D Did you know that Leinbrock produced in your country, too? translate with google from old-coffe-grinders.com: "Další výrobní závody měly Leinbrock v Čechách, v Niedergrund a.d. The restoration is amazing, congratulations, but the slicer is useless. It's faster and easier using a knife.
