This isn't your Battlefield 1. This is a more realistic take on the Great War. They said we'd be heroes. They played jolly music, had great festivals, made the War seem like it would be great and glorious. That was all to cover the ugly truth. Death. Nothing more than Death. That's all there was on the front. Men dying everywhere on both sides. Nothing but death. Man against man. Brother against brother. It was horrible. I was fighting to survive, and so were they. What the hell was all this even for? There is so much blood on my hands. Every man, a husband, father, son, brother. So many dead. I may have survived, but at what cost?

@@haplas Believe it or not, I've always hated writing. Probably because there's always so many rules and limits, and because I always have to write about a specific topic instead of something I'm passionate about.
