Not sure if it applies to the rocks in the catacombs but on the basalt steps at the lighthouse you can cross from rock-to-rock across the shortcut faster if you click on the rock you're currently standing on as opposed to clicking on the one you're jumping to. Something to try out maybe if you're still working on agility.
