Great Video. Is it possible to add a command in verge3d to allow the user to export the animation via rendered png files? Use case, animating a rotary dial. Thanks in advance.

I'm not aware of anything within V3D that can accomplish that, but I'd do some research to verify that.

quick question, how do materials and different lightings translate into verge 3d? i notice yours is kinda matte plain color, but if i wanted some chrome or interesting lighting, or environment reflections etc..

The "rendering engine" is different than Blender native. You'll need to play around with it, but with enough time, you can get it pretty similar. I would love to see a live material previewer added in the future.

Do you think this would be the best way to have an interactive 3d model that also has updatable information attached to certain points on the model (a sphere)? I'm totally new to web development and diving into what I want to do immediately, using webflow, doesn't seem like there's a lot of information out there about updating information on a 3d model.

Hey, I want to use GLB files i have been supplied by a client, but use Verge3d for puzzles and to manipulate the interactions to then add to a webflow site.- So not familiar with the file types or this software but wondered if there is a way I can do it without having to go deep into the Verge3d/Blender software...

You should be able to import glb files into Blender. In regards to going deep into the software, it depends on what you intend to do, but I wouldn't recommend going this route if you're unfamiliar with either of these software.

@@RedPantherio Thanks for your quick reply. Maybe model viewer is a better option in that case and adding some custom code in that case. I just liked the concept of being able to tweak the interactions more specifically but might have to be something down the line or work more collaboratively with the original creators of the files.

Can you import a blender mantaflow simulation into verge3d?

That's a good question. I haven't tried that. There may need to be some baking that happens before exporting but can't say for sure.

Did you download and install the plugin and turn it on under Preferences?
