Accurate Vash power summary here: -Vash has well over a century of active combat experience, and many powerful guns. -He can fly, he can shoot black holes, and he can create enormously powerful energy shields. -His wings can also be used to deflect attacks, and they've been shown to activate without any conscious will. -He once fired off a blast that blew a huge hole through the moon. -He fought evenly with Knives, who at that point really was basically a god with almost infinite power. *I don't know Vergil. Just wanted the facts out there.*

That's very accurate, but just from the nature of DMC games, Vergil still has his outclassed in every area. The only thing would be if Vergil didn't care to actually give any effort to fight at all

Anthony Overton He doesn't, Knives did everything that vergil did in DMC3 but on a larger scale, yet he still lost to Vash. Lampart Loltrol* Dante? No way in hell, if Dante fought seriously than it would be over so fast. Also, Vergil will easily stomp Vash. Vergil has DT, insane speed, Summoned Swords, Healing Factor, Judgement Cut - END, teleportation abilities, and his sword can cut dimensions. Sure Vash has great accuracy and a gun that can wipe out a city, but it doesn't matter when Vergil can easily tank it.

Vash can also project energy shields that can't be broken through... and actually hurts the people that touch it. In the manga knives tries to attack vash after wolfwoods death and literally couldn't even get close to him due to that shield. Plus vash has a form of subconscious defense, that blocks anything before the mind can think, his wings are pretty rough to deal with. Also the black hole bullets was vash making a choice to fight more as a human vs knives... no prof he wouldn't use other forms of his black hole powers vs someone else.

Well, I'm pretty sure Ben would win too (he is my favorite of the two) but I think Beast Boy would have a pretty good chance. Ben's never had much control over Alien X, and on a different comment thread someone mentioned that Beast Boy can turn into a kyrptonian. If that's true, I think Beast Boy sweeps pretty much all of Ben's aliens except for Alien X and maybe Ultimate Way Big or Ultimate Humungasaur. So I think it would be a really good fight regardless. EDIT: Just remembered Clockwork and Ghost Freak. Beast Boy's fucked.

I know you guys might not see this, but how do you decide to reconcile several differing variants of a certain character. Like in one series a certain character can do something and in another variant they can't. Do you have to accept a single one as canon, or do you combine the abilities? Pretty sure Vash's full powered was stated in the manga to "level the planet." And he made a crater in the moon. Cutting dimensions on Vergil's half is a feat based on hax, not raw strength. Vash wins.

I always hated the crate system of games like overwatch because if you are unlucky enough you can spend hundreds of dollars and still not get what you're after. I played an app called Marvel puzzlequest and it had a similar system to the random crates except for one difference. It used a vault to ensure you can only get specific things a certain amount of times until the vault is empty. With this system it guarantees if you spend enough you will get the all the things you want from that vault, then you can reset it.

月 IMP the difference is that knives spacial control travels. whereas Vergil's happen in a spot nigh instantly. and Vergil can cover the ENTIRE battlefield, every single iota on the battlefield at that.

"nigh instantly" to the eyes of lesser demons and Dante who is his equal. It travels JUST as Knives spacial attack. It's not "nigh-instantly". Only in gameplay. For someone who is faster, which Vash IS via feats, it would be slow. Also Vergil needs to charge it Also the attack from Knives covered all the battlefield, if you see the scan that I sent, and Vash stopped it with a single bullet. Vergil has no chance against Vash. Vash has greater power (did a large crater in the moon and his angel arm was stated to level the planet), Is faster (Comparable to Knives, who traveled out of orbit and to a space ark within a couple of seconds which puts him in the quadruple digits Mach range) and more durable (Angel Wings can tank up to planet level attacks), and Vash can pretty much hard-counter yamato with his black-hole bullets

hamza saideddine Yamato is stated to be able to rend the fabric of space-time itself. how does he block a total spacial rend? I don't recall how he does this in trigun, I thought angel wings only pertained to energy. and him dealing with knives was thanks to his advanced plant brain and experience.

I think Vash would have a chance. Because strategy also plays a part. Ie Nightcrawler vs Quicksilver. Quicksilver might not be able to keep up with Nightcrawler using speed alone, but if he can figure out Nightcrawler's movements and patterns he could in theory decipher where Nightcrawler will appear. And vice versa Nightcrawler could use the same strategy. I think what it really comes down to is who is more experienced.
